Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"No, this is certainly the work of a new mind. Matt wouldn't of been so... understated. We know what he's like and he certainly likes flashy explosions and sh*t like that. Big scale things. This is reletivley small. And it's also simple. Matt tends to be overly elborate. I mean planes and all that, god did it do the job but it also was a tinsy bit OTT. This just did the job with minimum mess and maximum fuss. Leading to the conclusion that this Kira is having a much more systematic and clinical approach. And anyone in leage with Matt will most likly be of a simmalar standing. And we have all but one of the trio. And she seems to be the weak link in a strange way, seeing as she hasn't done all that much to assit Laya or Akito.And leading to the conclusion this is a fresh mind."

 

"Lana..." Melldoy aighed giving up. "The point was we don't know what he's capable of..."

 

ooc: xD I have to visit my brother at the hospital so hopefully if he allows me to use his laptop, then Kyra would start talking, but for now, she'll just be observing the meeting after this post xDD

Kyra ran through the doors, and then whispered, ''Sorry I'm late, so what's up??''

 

Near was setting up his legos and listening to the two when Kyra came in. "Just in time." He said to her without looking up from the legos

Kyra then sat on the nearest chair possible, getting her case files out and waited for Near's instructions eagerly.

 

Blondie soundlessly ducked in after Kyra, without a word of appology. Leaning against the back wall, and fiddling with her beautifully sleek and straight hair. A faint smirk gracing her strawberry lips as she observed Lana's change of mood. She'd changed the second she'd entered the room, and Blondie was thinking that it simply couldn't be a coincidence.

"That's the point I was making too Mellody." Lana sighed, the hairs on the back of her neck standing on end as she sensed Blondie's dark gaze on her back. Her posture switching from being confident and strong to being merely a medi-ocre agent's. Something about her just made Lana feel like garbage. Though, she had the suspicion that it wasn't just her she had that effect on.

She stifled a snicker of amusment as she took in Lana's outfit. It wasn't that she didn't look good. She'd willingly and freely admit that Lana didn't half look good for a scrawny, short and unmatured child of a girl. In fact in Blondie's opinion she was rather pretty all things considered. But still, who did she think she was thinking she could pull off that outfit, it wasn't at all like what Blondie had seen of her so far. But, she had only been around for a short while. So she never knew what the REAL New L was like.

 

He looked at Lana then at Blondie. "Is there something wrong?"

 

"Not as far as I'm aware."
"No Near, not at all..."

 

"Okay." He sighed and looked back at the legos. "Did you check all of Laya' concats?" Friends and family?"

 

"I was doing that as L sent the message out. It seems everyone we know of is under survalience or in SPK custordy." Blondie replied. "For the exception of Matt and Terri. Who we can assume he's with... Though we don't actually know where he's gone. But as L was saying when I appeared, this isn't his style."

 

"Indeed it isn't. It has to be someone Laya trusted though..."

 

"I think we would be safe in assuming she either requested the Shinigami to take the Notebook to someone she believed was suitable or it was someone she managed to contact under our radar." Lana chimed in, getting in just ahead of the annoyingly intelligent, yet dim, blonde.

 

"I agree with that."

 

"So if it's someone she got "below the radar", as L so eloquently put it. There should be some form of evidence based on Laya's recent activities. Some link, some key." Blondie suggested.

 

He nodded then flicked the Laya lego down

"Then maybe you should read into it Blondie? It seems to of captured your interest."
