Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"If all of us are still here..." He said, voice berely audiable (I stole your word this time)

 

"Well... That maybe... But those of us left certainly will be." Lana laughed weakly. "We all know the risks when we take the jobs, that shouldn't be a burden on your shoulders. You shouldn't take the place if you aren't willing to die for the case. So don't think of that, concentrate on the future and the goals. Rather then the present and the pitfalls."

 

He smiled. "Another reason why I like talking to you."

 

"I ramble stupidly from time to time and it's entertaining to watch?" She grinned.

 

"No...you make me feel better."

 

"What I'm here for Near." She smiled.

 

"Then I'm glad you're here."

 

"I'm glad I'm here too."

 

He rested his head on her shoulder. "As much as I would like this moment to last I really think we should worry about the case."

 

"Same here..." She sighed, resting her head on his. "Alright then. To work. Oh joy." Lana grinned, standing up rather suddenly. "I'm saying we need to inform everyone in the SPK of this mornings prison... masacre for lack of a better word."

 

He got out his cell phone from his pocket and held it out for her to take it. "Will you do it for me?"

 

"I'll do it, but I'll use my phone. It'll look a little strange me calling from your's."

 

With the most awquard cockney accent, Kyra went around the hotel, asking for the swimming pool repeatingly.

In the end, she just sat down near a patio and continued her work without further disruptions.

She eventually finished her coursework, and went back to her room, getting the Kira file out and investigating further... Unfortunately, she left her room open.

 

He shurgged and replaced his phone back in his pocket. "Okay."

 

Kyra shut the door, and continued her work.

 

"I think I'll be going with the system wide text then a call... To lazy to set up a conference call..." She sighed, sitting back down and typing in the message.
This is L:
There has been a major K-related disturbance a a prison. Please report to N's Control Room ASAP.

 

"Then we should head to the control room now."

 

"Of course. Good idea..." She said, standing back up again and smoothing her skirt down a little.

 

He stood also.

With a tiny clatter of her heels Lana headed across the lobby and up the stairs towards the Control Room.
