Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"I think I have an idea, but that's just me going by how sick her mind can be at times..."

"He better keep his head down from now on. Or I'll be making sure it gets knocked off. He's not getting away with that with me around. And if tries to pull another stunt like that, well... It won't be pleasant for him. Anyone else that I should know of?"

 

He thougt for a moment before shaking his head to clear it. "Well at least she got it over."

"No one that I can speak of or know of."

 

"As far as I know everything's fine, you're not going anywhere and neither is anyone else. Though seeing as how he can't track us right now, I'm postive it's just Matt acting alone. He's style is very eleborate and you can tell at first glace that it is him. And he's certainly disappeared, otherwise he'd been doing a countdown."

"There's people you can't speak of?"

 

He nodded. "I agree."


"Even Death Gods have rules."

 

"Anyway, I'm starting to wonder if we need to worry about it... He isn't doing anything at all. Not so much a gloating reminder."

"Who would these rules be protecting?"

 

"He could be meeting with the reporter..."


"They are there to keep balance and such."

 

"And the TV thing could of been a distraction to cover it up. But, seeing as there's been no follow up, I'm saying it's a cover-up that backfired."

"Hmm... I should read them and go through them carfully with you. Would prove invaulable..."

 

"We'll have to wait and see."


"Go ahead."

 

"Yeah... I guess we will..." She sighed, nervously biting down on her thumbnail.

"I'll save that for later when I'm fully awake and dressed I think..."

 

"You do know that is unhealthy?"

"Well anyway do you have anything to eat?"

 

"Biting my nails? Yeah I know, also doesn't look so good. But it's kinda a bad habit I've always had... Gave up trying to knock it off at eight when I learnt the nail polish that tastes bad doesn't actually taste that bad." She giggled.

"Fridge. Should be stuff to eat in there."

"You ate nail polish?"


She nodded and walked to the kitchen

 

"Not exactly, there's this stuff you put on your nails to stop you biting them. It's ment to taste horrible so you don't want to bite them and then eventually you learn not to, but I didn't mind the tate. So it didn't work." She explained with a slightly cheeky grin.

First shook his head slightly and wandered off to get dressed.

 

"Only you would."


Desire looked through the food

 

"Coz I'm special." Lana giggled.

"Sorry there isn't much. I need to go to Tesco's and buy some more food, haven't been shopping for a couple of weeks."

 

Ross sighed.

''Talk about blowing a last chance away,'' he muttered to himself quietly, remembering Kyra running off with his hat, calling him a creep...
Oh god, she hates me too! He thought frantically, placing his head on a desk. Then he thought of something which might catch not only her attention, but maybe also Kira's.

So, as he was preparing the video tape, he used sterile gloves whenever he had to re-tape his speech, and after a few days of hard work and voice manipulation, he finished his message...

''Hehe... Now to send this off to the TV station...'' He cackled to himself, not realising that what he may do can literally make Kyra despise him even more...

The message, however, played for one last time;

He also wrote a message (still with sterile gloves), saying (in bright red)
''URGENT, BROADCAST IMMEDIATELY... FOR KIRA.''

"Indeed." He said, looking at the tv

"I don't mind."

 

Kyra shivered in her hotel room, although it seemed warm in the sofa with pajamas.
She got up from the sofa, and went to the mini bar, getting a non alcoholic shandy because she's following L's advice. She sat back down, and twirling the remote control around, she flicked through channels, trying to find something remotely interesting.

 

As the recording began to play Lana dropped her head onto the keyboard once again. "These guys are non-stop aren't they? And Thirteen? Oh man..."

"Shoot... News..." First sighed, flicking the television on. Rather annoyed he'd missed the headlines however, he's annoyace soon turned into outrage. Sharply he tipped his head to one side. "Did he just tell me what to do?" He growled, the undertone almost animalistic. "He just asked ME to be his underling. ME. Baka... Expect a none to friendly reply Thirteen."

 

"He stole my name for you...Hmm. This is getting intersting though, I would perfer it if there was only one Kira. This guy knows about the Death Note so we can't just ingore him."

She laughed. "He must think he has something over you."
