Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

Kyra then widened her eyes, then replied, ''Hang on, you're part of the group too? I'm so sorry!! I just usually get so jittery when people ask my age that I usually just shout out a random age...'' She then changed the subject, feeling a little uncomfortable with herself, ''Wow, that's an amazing way of deducing how people have eating disorders... Hang on... but she doesn't look like a bulliminic...'' She looked at Lana, then turned back at Blondie, smiling innocently. She did not realise that Blondie might probably not like Lana, but deducing the current situation, she feels as if she trusts her.

 

"Actually... If you look closely, her hands are near her mouth a lot, inicating habit. Her arms are folded most of the time, showing anxiety and well... She's the skinniest girl I think I've ever seen. Can't be over 80 pounds bless her. And also how she dresses, always a size to big you notice. She's easily a size four in the sizes over here, however it's obvious she's wearing size 6's. Still remarkable small for a woman her age, but rather noticeable. All in all it adds up to looking like someone whose just that little too concious about their weight dispite the fact people seem concerned as to how thin they are. But judging by her little display just then, she's a rather sneaky food avoider. Leading to the conclusion of annorexia. Maybe a reminant, maybe still full scale. You never know."

Kyra then took another peek at Lana, and realised that Blondie may have a bit of a point, and then said with a hint of surprise, ''So she's just skin and bones, as you imply?''
She then looked at herself, and sighed sadly, remembering how she shedded weight and came from a size 10 to a size 6/8, and of all the teasing and peer pressure.

''I don't think she did it for other people's sakes...'' Kyra began, stopping, just in case she might blurt out something wrong and misunderstanding.

 

"I imply she looks like you could snap her like a toothpick by so much a hugging her. So I can imagine anything else is some what out of the question." Blondie giggled somewhat malevolently. "And I never thought she did, a fair part of her body language also indicates that there's no one she much cares for. Or much cares for her. I bet you at school she was that skinny little emo that nobody wanted to so much as sit on the same table as. I've seen that girl many times in many places. And they all have the same out look on life. Grab love when you can and conform with non-conformation. But maybe that's me. I dunno, some times I read into far to much detail." She finshed with a indifferent sigh. "I just think she's a girl to watch out for. No one can be eighteen, successful and as innocent as she makes out to be. Not in this day and age. Well, toodles. I'm off, paper work to catch up on and phonecalls to make. Gotta keep in touch or they won't know where I've gone." Blondie said in farwell. Leaving Kyra to ponder over her thoughts she'd been left with. "And umm, you ever noticed who she spends a lot of time with?" She whispered quietly before exiting the room. A unseen evil smirk on her lips as she exited.

Kyra then looked at Blondie, and then thought back at when she first met Lana, and how nice she had been to her... And being completely naieve, thinking that Blondie's very concerned with Lana, she then said without thinking, ''You mean with Near, right? I mean.. er...erm...''

She remembered doing a lot to fit into groups at the army, but at University, it came naturally to the fact that people liked her for what she was, especially as she's honest most times, and very unique in whatever she did... She almost can see Blondie as a popular girl who sets out standards for everyone.

She also randomly remembered an article referring to gossiping being more grasping than the truth, and slammed her palm to her head. Blondie didn't like Lana. She can sense it in the way that Blondie talked, however, she is a little slow on recognising a few things... So she thinks they may have fallen out.

Kyra thought to herself rapidly, To Survive in this world, you have to adapt to the enviornment's settings... and sighed, knowing that if Blondie knows her personal opinion about Lana, some sort of gossip might spread, so she has to be a little sneaky, as she wants to know why Blondie might have doubts about Lana.

"You should eat." He said while taking a bite of his food and listening to the conversation with interste up until Blondie walked off. Obsernt for sure.... Denfintly loves profiling others while making them feel bad. If she is working for Kira I can see why. Either way she could prove usful in the investion.

 

"Hey, 'L'." Blondie shouted after the figure of Lana, who was disappearing up the flight of stairs, "Don't think I didn't see you two this morning." She sneered, stifling a sadistic giggling as Lana spun around to stare at her. First in shock, and then in disbelief as she regained her calm composure.

Initially Lana panicked for a moment, unsure if running away would of been a good idea. However she soon cleared her head of the negativities and looked down, almost scornfully, at the slender blonde. "What are you talking about Blondie?" She facepalmed.

"I mean, I saw you and, I'll just say someone who must be the near-est thing you have to a friend, leave a certian rather private room together. Made all that more interesting by the fact you two spend almost every waking second together. But maybe it is just a professional thing, I'm not really one to judge even if it isn't. This is just a so-called friendly warning. Be more carful. Don't want lovely little rumours to start flying now? Do we?" She smiled in a sweetly condesending voice.

"Whatever Blondie. Get your mind out of the gutter, he was in there with me because I almost drank myself into oblivion and I was sick, so he stayed with me because he cares what happens to me. That's all you perverted dumb-blonde." Lana sighed, rolling her eyes and continuing up the stairs. Not in any mood to continue with the conversation, it would only end in tears. Most likely her own.

Blondie giggled softly to her self before proceeding outside, for once it was sunny on the godforsaken rock that was England and she was determined to go look around the city while it was still early.

 

Mellody sighed, coming down the stairs and waving to Lana when she saw her, obviously in a good mood for whatever reason.

 

"Heya Mell." Lana nodded, her smile has soon returned after the rather obnoxious encounter with Blondie.

 

"Hey Lana what's new?" Mellody asked, leaning on the wall an ammused smile on her face.

 

Lana nodded her head up towards the stairs again. "Everyone's finishing off breakfast, they'll be coming out in a second." She explained, climbing the remainding stairs. Grabbing Mellody's wrist and pulling her back up after her. "And what's with your big smile?"

 

"Oh, i jsut can't wait to hear what you have to tell me." Mellody giggled, letitng herself get pulled up by Lana...

 

"Riiight." Lana said with a puzzled expression. "Anyway... Two things, one: I think I nearly pulled Near over again last night when I was drunk and he had to help me... two: I fell asleep on him. Which... Is ratehr weird."

 

"How'd he react to you falling asleep on him?" Mellody asked ignoring the other bit till later.

 

"He didn't seem that bothered in all honesty. I mean, he fell asleep as well so... yeah."

 

"So you're a couple...?" Mellody asked curiously.

 

"He kinda asked the same thing..." Lana mumbled, looking down in order to hide a blush that had just swept across her face. "And well... I'm not certain, but I think so." She smiled, her voice rather quiet.

 

"And... how does it feel?" Mellody asked turning to her. "How does it feel, loving osmeone and being loved in return?"

 

Kyra looked as if she was about to burst with confusion, and looking at Lana one last time, followed Blondie a bit... So that she could ask a few questions.
