Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"Alright!" Mellody yelled back sitting down at the laptop, and almost immediantly clicking on her personal files, and closing them down again the second she saw blood... Lana...

 

Ken finally reached his hotelroom he packed out several stuff and took up his computer. he sat down and plugged in a devise to it. "lets see now, i need to get a better map of this place"he said to himself as he began working

 

The moment Mellody closed the files Lana appeared from her room again. The old gothic look had made a return as she was once again clad in black leather trousers and a tigh fitting black tank-top, she was pulling on a black deminm jacket with one arm and placing a pair of sunglasses on her head with the other. But seeing as the second arm was still bare, if you knew what you were looking for, you could see the faint lines of scar tissue crossing her skin and darkening as it got closer to her wrists. But you had to look closley to see the faint lines across her vains. "Alright, let's get going." Lana said cheerfully.

 

"Ye-yeah!" Mellody agreed a little surprised at Lana.

 

"You alright hun? You look a little shocked about something." Lana asked, pulling the other sleeve of her jacket on and dropping the sunglasses again.

 

Mellody looked at the sunglasses blankly...

 

"What's wrong? You look like you saw a corpse." Lana laughed.

 

Mellody laughed as well. "Nothing, let's just get going..."

 

"You sure? You look paler then Near under washout lighting."

 

Mellody nodded quickly. "i-i'm okay, let's go!"

 

"Seriously, what's up? You seem really upset about something."

 

"I-i'm fine!" Mellody snapped standing up. "Let's just go..."

 

"You're not! What is it?"

 

"Nothing" Mellody sighed palming her face, and claming down. "just a little surprised with that outfit, now let's go"

 

"Please, I used to live in this look." Lana's gaze drifted from Mellody's face to the computer and back again. A fearful truth dawning on her. "You went into my files and saw the photos didn't you!?"

 

"Only one..." Mellody conffesed. "i'm sorry... i re-really am..."

 

"I asked you not too!" Lana exclaimed, unsure of what to say and do. "Alright fine, that's me. That's my wrist, no point in hiding that much. I'm not sure how old I was then, but that's only because I don't know which photo it was."

 

Mellody nodded, going pale again thinking about it. "I-I'm truly sorry... u-um, can we go now? PLEASE?!"

 

"No, you look like you're about to pass out or something." Lana sighed, tugging at her own jacket sleeves. "Sit down, we'll do the bombs once you recover. Gussing you don't exactly love blood."

 

Mellody looked at her defiantly, but sighed and shook her head, taking Lana's offer and sitting down.
