Return of Kira: Part Three-Confused Souls

"Hey Roxanne, i know, sorry." Mellody replied hurriedly, hoping to get over all the small talk before too lang. Tme was precious, and she was only making this phone call for Lana anyway. "how's everyone? oh, and can i ask a favor of you?"

"Ya know, same old same old." Roxanne replied. "And of course babes, never say no to a request."

 

"You're going to kick me out?"

 

"I need you to have a look at all the recent gang activites, mobilization, basicaly anything like that, and make sure you pay close attention to anything suspicious. For some reason. One of my friends was kidnapped, and i really don't want to leave her on her own." Mellody requested, rushing to her room, and shutting the door behind her. "As i said, pay as close a detail as you can, i'm going to check all the police records i can find on my end, so inform me of any information you gather."

And with that, Mellody went to hang up, stopping barely a second before she did, remembering something with an odd smile, and brining the phone back up. "Oh... and how is she...?"

 

"Alright, nothing too major has gone down recently, everyone's been rather quiet since he was locked up a couple of months ago. Never thought I'd say this that N's a piece of alright for makin' my job easier." Roxanne replied, sounding much more business-like in her manner. "And the little madam's been just fine. Nothing new to report, 'cept she tried to steal my sunglasses again."

"Would that even work?" Blondie questioned with a look of puzzlement on her fair face.

 

"Not really, but I will go on an apple diet" matt said with a grin

 

"I don't think you want to do that."

 

"Well I won't unless I have to" he said with a grin

 

"It'll be very disturbing to see me without apples. I get all twisted up... Plus I believe that N guy can see me..."

 

"Hey Ryuk, you are going to be the death of me, right?" he asked him

 

Ryuk laughed. "Of course."

 

"Am I still able to write in your death note though, even if you own it?" matt asked

 

"Hmm... Odd question...There should be no reason why you wouldn't be able to."

 

"Oh really" matt said, as he picked up his own death note, and began skimming through the pages. "Interesting"

 

"Hmmm why you asked?"

 

"Simple curiosity my good friend" he said to Ryuk with a wide smile

 

"Hmm..." Looks like things are going to get even more intersting now.

 

Mellody giggled queitly. "Well tell her i said not to again. Anyways thanks Roxxie, as i said keep me updated."

And with that she flicked her phone away, turning to her computer. Something struck her when Roxxane'd mentioned him and for some reason, it didn't seem wrong.

 

"Will do hun, will do." Roxanne nodded as she shut her own phone with a small click and a faint bleep. "Looks like things just got that little more interesting..."

 

"Well then, shall we get going?" he asked
