'yeah, i guess so.' he laughed with her. 'that shopping was really tough..... i was looking for one of the books, and a third year dropped one that tried to eat me.'

 

Jordan looked confused, she laughed though

 

'I'm not joking. the bloody thing was ALIVE. anyway.... how long is the train supposed to be?'

 

Miranda heard laughing coming from a few compartments ahead of her "At least someone's made some friends..."

Cade was looking for a compartement and noticed Miranda all alone''Hey,need company?''Cade asked

 

Miranda looked at him for a few seconds then turned back to look out the window "Sure, if you've got nowhere else to sit"

 

Cade took a seat across from her and asked''your a first year too right?''

 

"Yup" she said still looking out the widow

 

'oh..''Cade mumbled''You seem like a loner...''

 

Miranda turned to face him and stared at him as though he was an idiot. "Oh, gee am I that obvious?" she said sarcastically as she petted Miko.

 

Cade felt the urge to take out his wand and teach her a thing or to,but resisted''ok...im guessing you want to be in Slytherin?''Cade asked

 

Miranda lughed a little but didn't look up from petting Miko. "You're very judgemental. Did you know that?"

 

''No...just seems like you would fit''Cade mumbled

 

"Well I wouldn't blame you, I give alot of people the impression that I hate everyone I meet. I'm just not really into this whole 'boarding school' thing, I was never really the type to have friends. I just thought there was no point in trying to start now when most people will treat me like the weirdo I am."

 

''I would be your friend if you didnt act that way..''Cade said''It's not too late to change..''

 

"Trust me, you wouldn't want to be friends with a person like me" she looked out the window again "All I've ever been good for is dragging people down, at least that's what my dad says" she said with a slight laugh.

 

Cade frowned''just be nice to others..''he said''you know how right?''

 

"Yeah... but I haven't been nice to anyone in such a long time..."

 

''Then start now before its too late..''Cade said,he got up and took the seat next to her''okay?''
