Imagine when you lay down to sleep that you feel a tingling sensation in your legs. Or you feel like your legs are on fire. The only relief you get is when you move them. This is what I struggle with every night which is part of the reason why I'm up at 2:09 AM today.
Woah, have you been to the doctors about this? I mean, if it's disturbing sleep then it should be looked at. I've personally never had this but can it feel like the start of pins and needles, or is it much worse?
Ah, I've had this before, I ended up running around my house at silly'o clock in the morning ¬_¬ Maybe you should do what Ienzo suggested, if it's causing you discomfort go to the doctors about it.
I only get that when I'm in an uncomfortable place and my body is tired. But once I lay down to rest/sleep it goes away. Sucks to hear that it prevents you from sleeping.
I've had the same, and I still occasionally have it. You could try working out your legs, exhaust them more or less, it works for me
When I first looked at the title I read "Relentless Log Syndrome" It has quite a different thought to it. I kind of wish I had this actually. I'm perfectly content to sit in one place for the entire day and my health suffers some for it.
I haven't really been to the doctor about it yet because of personal issues. I do plan on going when I get it sorted out provided the parental units can take me. For now though I'll just have to learn to cope.
Yeah, going to the doctor is recommended. I get this often, normally when I get up, go for a walk around the block and such, then it will rest long enough for me to fall asleep.
I get it all the time. In fact I have it right now. I've been to the doctors about it, even had x-rays, but it never returned anything. I find that to get rid of the uncomfortable-ness I put my leg in the most uncomfortable position i.e crossing it like a pretzel around the other. Or I sit in that meditating position. Anything that sort of puts it in a not normal position helps :) And definitely do not become focussed on it, it just makes the feeling worse and you get more frustrated. I wish you the best of luck.
I'm scared i have this, whenever im in the car my legs get this really bad pain. my grandmother said i might have it
If it's really bad pain, it could be something worse, such as a blood clot. Just as a precautionary, if I were you, I'd have a doctor take a look at that.
It's not a really bad pain but it feels as if my legs are being twisted. I don't get it as bad when i'm not in the car but im hardly ever sitting still.
^This If I'm laying down on my couch for a long time watching TV and I stand up My vision gets sorta blurred and black, and my body feels sorta numb in a way.
I'm glad to find out im not the only one. i recently got glasses because my vision was getting worse (and still is) and i've had this problem for as long as i can remember, i thought i might have some sort of eye problem. my head also feels heavy when i stand up, if thats what you mean by numb.
