very cool, I just picked up Resistance, so im glad to see theres another one coming, this one looks more modern O_O Awesome.
I wonder what time era it's in since the first one was after the would-be WWII. Maybe it'll replace the Vietnam war or something...could be more modern too.
I don't get this, because Resistance 2 will only be the 2nd time Insomniac has ever dealt with online functionality, whereas Bungie and Epic have been doing it for almost their entire existences as software developers.
Umm... Insomniac has had 4 online games before this. Epic ****ed up UT3 and Bungie ****ed up Halo 3, they have no right to talk anymore. But Insomniac almost never makes a bad game.
I, as usual agree wholly with you, insomniac gets bragging rights, it comes from skill, not from time spent in the business. I seriously cant wait for this!
Really? I'm not aware of any. Resistance: Fall of Man was the first Insomniac game with Online play, Resistance 2 will be their second. Bullshit, how are either of those online systems "f**ked up", Halo 3 set the bar for console Online gaming Probably because they've only ever made Spyro and Ratchet & Clank games?
Yeah, I'm not doubting that it would be possible--since I'm sure if you optimize, then getting that 60 is within reach, but you can't expect all online players to be equipped in the way they need to be to make it work. There's always gonna be those people who want to play online with a dial-up connection and live halfway around the world from you; and when you have 60 people to support, a small fraction with crappy connections can cause a lot of problems.
Lmfao, you think because filefront says so I think it's true? I don't. Fact is, Halo 3's online is a complete rip of Halo 2's online.
