Kingdom Hearts II Residents of Destiny Islands

Okay, why didn't anyone at Destiny Islands like wonder how the hell they were alive again? And the islands were back? Explain why or why not they would remember or not remember why Destiny Islands was destroyed and back again.

 

It's not like they remember that they were gone, they just were...

 

k as for selphie i dun know but they remember when the island got destroyed but when sora defeated xehanorts heartless the world repaired themselfs

selphie & (name that escapes me but he had like a volley ball) no idea but kairi is back on the island and the ****** with the red stick is at traverse town

 

DI was attacked in the middle of the night. We can assume everyone but Sora and Riku were sleeping during the attack. Thats why no one else remembers it... not even Kairi.

As for were they were. They were crystals. Remember, the soul of someone who's world loses its hearts to darkness becomes a crystal. Only the strongest souls can be summoned.

Also, remember, when The End Of The World was destroyed. All the worlds that lost thier hearts to the heartless returned to normal. Its not that big a mystery.

I've wanted to know about this. In KH1, in TT, there's is a dude that looks EXACTLY like Tidus. I've never talked to him though, is he?

 

I've talked to him, but he acts like he's never met Sora before. =/

 

No he isn't, in those scenes with Selphie and Kairi, Selphie mentions that Tidus and Wakka are too busy with something else to hang out with her. That's why they aren't seen

 

It's been asked before...

He's not Tidus. The developers were getting lazy on making new character models, so they just recycled some of the old ones. Despite it looking like him, it's just an uncanny coincidence and nothing more.

 

My question is why do they remember Riku? And how come no one cared that he was missing? Did Sora's mom just forget about him? And what about Riku's mom? She must be worried sick.

 

Because Riku probably told his..."parents" the plan of sailing the next day. He was old enough to go out on his own if he felt like it, so there wasn't that much concern about him.

As for Sora's mom...everyone DID forget about Sora after all.

I'm guessing that, since Riku's boat was missing (on the island) and that he never came back, that something must have happened to him in the storm. And when Namine screwed with Sora's memories in CoM, everyone on the islands forgot about Sora, so no one ever cared. When people began to remember Sora, they probably figured that he went with Riku and they both got lost/swept out to sea/killed during the storm. When they returned, I'm sure everyone thought it was some miracle that they ended up on their little raft, ended up in some foreign land across the seas, spent a year there, and somehow made it back.

 

Well, it's like they disappeared for a time and when they come back, it's like it never even happened... >>

 

I never thought about why they never mentioned Riku. Maybe they just assumed Riku died in the storm since his boat was gone, and after a year went by, they just stopped mourning him.

I mean, Selphie did speak of him as if he was dead.

Also, once Sora's CoM was restored. Everyone connected to Sora remembered him, they also remembered that Sora was missing for a year.

I bet everyone who knew Sora in DI spontaneously said "Holy (Insert explative here), What ever happened to sora?"
