I went to see it yesterday. I thought it was awesome, anyway. It's definitely more jumpy than the previous too (complimented by the hugeass surround sound in the cinema P:).

I didn't see the point in having Nurse Betty :S? And I hated how Ashanti played her. I mean, just 'cos you're a musician doesn't mean you can act. I also didn't like Ali Larter as Claire.

I read that this was the last in the trilogy, but that was one hell of a cliffhanger ending. Wide open for another. BRING IT ON :D

To be honest I have yet to see any of the Resident Evil movies. I didn't want the games to be ruined by watching this so someone tell me is it really worth seeing.

Yeah, it is worth it, Spit.

It has next to nothing to do with the videogames. It basically just incorporates some characters and monsters from the RE installments.

The only similarities I noticed were in RE2 (the movie) it had the destroyed Raccoon City, which happened in the RE2 videogame. It had tidbits of RE2 and 3 in that movie (Nemesis), but not the same plot as the actual games.

Well I haven't watched it yet but I want to.
But then again, I also have to watch RE2 xD
Lot of people say RE3's awesome though.
