Me and my sister got as far as the swamp, and we almost got all the plaques, but my sister is being a brat and got mad and wasted all our gold by buying everything because my siste started playing Sheva haha

 

Seeing how its my first RE I liked it, I now want to play the others but can't be bothered.

Some of the regular enemies can be a pain and the story is predictable but I find myself running out of ammo more than I do dying.

 

sorry if this is alittle off topic but is that game really good? i was watching X-play and they said it was a diappointment

yeah, it's good, really suspensful,
but i think my dad's gonna take it back because my brother won't stop screaming over it

Disappointment doesn't even begin to describe how X-play felt about it, but I found myself agreeing with a grand majority of the things Adam said about it. Which, it is sort of a shame, as I was looking forward to playing the game. I mean, chances are I still possibly will, but I'll know now that it won't be as good as I would have thought.

And 12 to 15 hours is rather short run-through, ecpecially since this is Resident Evil we're talking about. I could play with my sister (or if the need calls for it: My dad as he is the cool parent/knows the RE storyline for the most part) and have her control Sheva instead of the AI.

Then again, shelling out the money for both the game and the console will break my wallet. And again, graphics = All fine and dandy, but they (being the game producers) seem to forget that not all gamers like their video games to be all shiny and decorative with "realism."

They should focus on how the game looks, yes, true. But why would you want to play something with greater graphics along side a subpar storyline? I suppose beggers cannot be choosers, but how long can you remain oblivious to the same mistake over and over again?

 

I like the game, but I suck at it.

 

so true. as much as they said about itthey gave it a 3 out of 5. i wasnt expecting that.

 

Very happy with the game so far. Went to a special Midnight release at the Best Buy in Stroudsburg PA. The chapter I'm on.. not sure. But I did beat SPOILERS

I'm glad I stopped watching X-Play.

 

3 out of 5? That's pretty average. So what are some of the things that made this game a disappointment?

 

okay, check this out.
My brother, who is 8 years old, was playing it last night.. He went from chapter 2-1, all the way through the swamp, and i'm not sure WHAT chapter he got on, but we all took turns, but he wouldn't take turns with anyone ._.
so it was mainly me and my sis who took turns with Sheva, because my parents spoil my brother.
anyways, so last i saw, before i went to bed last night, my brother was on a large boat, killing off this creature with tentacles.

 

Oh yeah... that battle was pretty awesome. It was actually

Irving after he injected himself with a special virus or something.

All you had to do was use the mounted guns and shoot him, while dodging the tentacles...

But it was my 3rd favorite boss so far.

Nothing. People expected it to be something it's not.

It's fun to play, but game critics don't seem to care. Apparently that doesn't matter in games anymore.

In the flashback between chapter 2-3 Wesker was about to kill Chris, Jill had rushed towards him and throw him and herself through the window in the mansion and Jill was suspected dead! due to them no finding her body and Wesker had been not found as well.

I have many clues about Jill but i dont' have a Strong bit of evidence just yet of Jill being alive expect of her being bought back to life as Wesker might be luring in the air. The image showed in the database computer of Jill in a tube was shown right at the start and might be a hint of her appearing soon. I'm on Chapter 5-1.

My baby bro started playing about an hour and a half ago, and he's on 5-2

 

Are you serious? If you don't mind me asking, how old is your baby brother? xD; Either he is blazing through the level as fast he possibly can, or he is taking his time and it's just that easy. Either way: He's a good speed runner.

 

I was playing on Normal and it took me around 8 hours.

Oh, and I beat the game.

Final Boss was lacking... a lot.

Jill is still alive. You remove a parasite from her chest that brings her back from her mind control state. That is in 5-3. The final boss is in 6-3... and you just run from him. It's Wesker possessing the Uroboros and crap. You run back. Seperated. Chris pushes a rock down for Sheva. You run to the middle of the map. Shoot Wesker from behind, shoot him from up front. Chris grabs him and Sheva stabs him. The End of Wesker.

Overall, I thought it was a pretty awesome game. I still have higher difficulties to play AND MERCS mode. And I still have weapons to unlock, achievements, etc.

Yeah, we're past Jill. It took me like freaking forever to remove it.. like, 6 times of rapidly pushing the A button.
