Enoch nodded once, "Shhhh....do you hear that?" He lifted his hand, a glow emitted from his forearm of pale blue as he crept forwards to a large sand dune.

Xenree panted and grabbed a fistfull of sand and weakly chucked it upwards. "Orias..."

 

Erik stopped, trying to sharpen his senses, then he saw the glowing arm and he looked to the large sand dune. He hesitantly followed."Xenree?"

 

Xenree struggled up, her mind fuzzy, and shot a bolt of dark lightning through the dune, striking Enoch in the shoulder. Enoch retalliated, since he didn't know what Xenree looked like, "Stay back Erik!" He released a wave of the blue energy and watched the tattered Xenree weakly attempt to dodge, only to be hit by the aftermath and flung backwards.

 

Erik gasped and leaped, back, Odin in hand and looked at Xenree."No, please stop this Xenree, it's me, your cousin! Don't you remember?"He said, his arms tense, he had to be ready for anything, Xenree did not seem to be in a good way. He looked at Enoch with worry."We gotta help her.."

 

"Wh...who?" Xenree struggled to stand and fell backwards and tumbled down another steep slope of sand. Enoch froze, "This is Xenree? She is not well...her life force borders on the edge of time...between immortality...and death. Is she the one in a pact with Crowley?"

 

Erik saw Xenree fall and quickly went to her side, helping her up."hey, hang in there.."He said gently and looked at Enoch.."..Her along with Fil.."He said, speaking of which..what on earth was Beu doing?

 

Desperado had left and locked the castle on his way out. He spread his black feathered wings and took off toward Radient garden. Upon arrival, he conjured a ball of dark fire in has hand and threw it at the closest building, causing a rather large explosion and mass panic. He was soul hunting, seeking to increase his power. The average citizen would be like a drop in the ocean so he didn't bother absorbing their souls, but the royal guard, now they were a different story. He slew person after person, burned down building after building to draw them out.

 

Enoch settled beside them and dribbled water into her mouth. "Come now...drink up little pact maker." Xenree responded well, reaching upwards for the water. "Orias....I'm going to run out of time... I have f-five hours...left."

 

Erik watched Xenree and then helped her to her feet."You have plenty of time, but we gotta move, can you walk far?"He asked, not wanting to burden Valefor further but he didn't want Xenree suffering either.
