Remnants of The Wielders

Orias looked out at the ocean. then he remembered. "Oh! Ifound this lying around my house... its like a journal and it has info on heartless some things called nobodies and the story of three guys named Sora donald and Goofy. It could come in handy. right?"

 

Rei looked to Glen, "Then name's Rei. Nice to meet you." He said. "Well, maybe if we at least left some kind of note or letter on the day we leave, so they know what we are doing." Rei looked towards Orias with an intrigued look "That should come in handy, especially if we come into contact with these 'Nobody' things, that way we'll know what we're up against." Pondering the thought of possibly having more than one enemy sent chills down Rei's spine. Still, he did not back down at the idea of fighting to preserve peace among the worlds.

 

Logan stepped out of his house on the main island."Maybe I should go to the island be fore it gets dark." He yawned.He slowly walked to the pier."How to get across.......",He sat there puzzled for a while.He shrugged "Guess its time to swim"He said smiling.

 

Orias spotted Logan over by the pier. "hey, why dont you come with us? we need as much help as we can get. im Orias!"

 

Xenree snorted and uttered an unladilike explicitive. "What is it with you and picking up stray puppies?" She glowered briefly at Orias. "Don'tcha think we have enough help? Anyways, who's to say the Heartless can't be controlled?" Her thoughts were similar to what Riku had written in a journel long ago during his travels. If the darkness could be harnessed, why should they fear it?

 

Rei was puzzled by Xenree's statement. Even though it wasn't directed at him, Rei put in his two-cents, "But what if doing that leads to some..unwanted side-effects? For instance, the Darkness is too much to handle and you become one of them?" The thought of having to fight a humanoid-Heartless was a frightening thought. "You've heard the stories of the ones who got too cocky and ended up losing their hearts to these freaks. I just don't want that to happen to one of us."

 

She turned her icy silver gaze on Rei, "You think I'd be that dumb? I never said I was going to control it. That's the dumbest idea I've heard all day." She hid her desire to see exactly what kind of power the darkness had that Riku talked about. Xenree closed her eyes and leaned back against the tree, "Whether or not we go and or find a way to either control or defeat the Heartless, I think it's a wise idea to keep an open mind about things."

 

Rei could tell already things were gonna be...interesting around Xenree. He was going to come back at her with a 'Well Excuuuuse me, Princess' Line, but he hesitiated. "Ok, fine. At least I know nobody's gonna be over-confident about this whole thing. I'd rather not come back home with a smaller group than we left with is all I'm saying." Rei pulled out the journal he kept with him (yet rarely wrote in) and began writing something. He tore the page out, and put it and the journal back into his pocket. "I'll be right back, I have to go do something real quick." Rei announced, running back toward his house.

 

"Name's Marcus" Marcus responded.

 

"Welcome aboard Marcus!" Orias sed

 

Rei had run off to put a note to his mother in the drawer of hise bed-side desk. It read:

"Mom,

I now you're gonna hate to hear this, but it has to be said. Goodbye. Not permanently, or at least I hope not. The day I became a Wielder of the Keyblade it became my duty to protect the worlds from Darkness. That is what this letter is about. Me and a group of ther wielders are leaving the islands to go and defeat the Heartless threat and prevent the consumption of the other worlds. For all we know, we could be gone for as little as a few days, or we could be gone for a year or two. But just know that I love you. You've been the best mother ever, even without the help of Dad. I promise I will come home a better, stronger man. Until then, be safe.

Rei returned to the group, ready to head out ASAP. "Alright, I'm ready when you guys are." He said. "By the way, it's good to have you aboard, Marcus."

 

Xenree huffed; more people to look out for. She wasn't going to enjoy this trip very much with all them around, being noisy. "is there anybody else we're picking up or are we heading out to do as Sora and Riku did before?"

 

Marcus was impatient. "Can't wait to kick some heartless butt and save the world!" he said whilst laughing.

 

Orias was wierded out. Xenree had never acted like this before. "No, Xenree. This is our group for now." He said

 

"Woah, Woah, WOAH!! how exactly are we supposed to actually get to these other worlds? Unless someone's got a Gummi Ship or something, we're stuck here." Rei asked.

 

Xenree shot him a semi-cold glare. But gave up halfway through. Being angry at her friends wouldn't solve anything. "Then I guess I'll have to learn to get along with them. If only because you want to do this so much, Orias." When it came to her friends, she knew she had to protect them, and the only way to protect Orias was to stay by his side. Until she could get stronger and protect them all.

 

"Heh..well i don't know about a ship,but i've read that some people who can use darkness can open up portals of darkness called Dark Corridors. I've never done it before,but i bet i could give it a shot" Marcus said.

 

Trixis shook her head... She kinda dozed and noticed all the people around her... "Oh!!! hehe, Name's trixis for those of you who don't know!" She scratched the back of her head. "Anyway, the corridor idea might work..."

 

"I agree, the corridor seems best for now. Too much darkness and we r all in jeopardy"
