Remnants of The Wielders

Inside the white room stood a girl in white holding a sketchpad. "Hello, Sharumix."

 

Sharumix was confused. "Namine?" she asked. "But I thought..." She took a few steps closer. "I thought you were... you know, gone." If her memory served her correctly, Namine was the nobody for a princess of heart that had lived a hundred years ago. How did she exist now? Without even thinking about it, she lowered her keyblade to her side.

 

Stepping closer to her, Namine appeared to be 2D. "Please...I'm not really here. DiZ made a copy of me before I left. You've come...because you seek answers. Correct?" Namine set down her sketchpad and smiled.

 

Sharumix took another step forward. "Yes," she said. But how much would a 2d copy of a long-gone nobody know? Unless... "Do you know Crowley?" She asked.

 

Namine sighed, "Yes. Crowley....a man much like Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. He's after the power of Sora's memories. Riku's memories are filled with darkness, while Sora's are filled with experience and Light. He's always been much harder to sway." Namine fondly touched her sketchpad, "Crowley is an old pupil of Vexen and Ansem's."

 

"So, Crowley is after Sora's memories." Where do I fit in to this? She thought. Wait, Crowley was a pupil of Vexen's, and Vexen had been the one who created Xion. Xion had stolen Sora's memories. "He created me so that I would steal them for him," she guessed.

 

Namine nodded, "Yes. What he didn't count on was your relationship with Xenree and Orias. Xenree knows about Crowley's plans for you. She's working hard to find a way to help. Though it seems like she's simply destroying the worlds, the souls she takes will return to their rightful owners once she's done." She picked up her sketch book and flipped to a page, showing it to Sharumix. The picture was of Orias and Sharumix and a floating heart. "Unfortunately...Xenree will not live a full life."

 

"Oh." Sharumix looked down at the picture. Xenree had been trying to help her all along, and she had attacked her for it. "Is there any way I can help her?"

 

Namine nodded, "Yes. Locate Crowley in each of the worlds you feel are special...Sora's memories will come more frequently and ask him to provide her with more time. First Xenree had seven years...now seven months...soon it will be seven weeks...and then days...then hours...and minutes until she's out of time."

 

"Alright," Sharumix said. "I understand. I just have one more question." Sharumix took a deep breath. "I understand why I have Sora's memories, but what about all the others? I have memories of Kairi's, Riku's, Ventus's, Why?"

Orias had followed Shamurix. He had been listening at the door. "So, she has to steal myu memories?" He had some of Sora's Memories as well, but a few seemed to be missing. "Could she have stolen some without either of us knowing?" He entered the room. "Hey MArushi, hey Namine." He said with a goofy smile.

 

Namine's image faultered as she saw Orias. "Hello...Orias. Sharumix...Ventus' heart is apart of Sora's....his memories are connected to Sora...and Kairi and Riku's memories include Sora and thus they are also Sora's."

 

OOC: lol, sorry. It's hard to not post when things get so intense.

IC: Sharumix did a double take when Orias came in. "Orias, why are you here? When I left, you were asleep in the corner. Where's Xenree?" For a descendent of Sora, Orias seemed to be a very easily distracted person. Oh well. She turned and responded to Namine. "So I have all those memories because I have Sora's, and all those people are connected to him. That makes sense. Thank you, Namine. It's nice to finally know my purpose, even if I am going to fight it." She turned back to Orias. "I'm sorry if I stole some of Sora's memories from you, but... how do you have them anyway? You're Sora's descendent, not Sora himself."

 

"Well that's what I'm determined to figure out." he told her. "I've...always felt...different from everyone else. I do love my parents, but i dont feel like they are my real parents.. It's like... and for another thing, i look like Vanitas. Wouldn't i look more like Sora?"

 

"Hmm." Sharumix was puzzled. "I don't know why you would look like Vanitas. That doesn't make any sense." She looked up at Namine. "Again, thank you for your help, Namine." Then she turned back to Orias. "Well, I have a mission to do now. I'm going to look for Crowley in all the worlds that feel important to me somehow. You're welcome to join me if you wish." Then she turned to leave.

 

Namine gave them a final smile and suddenly her image began to waver and flicker. "When you see Xenree again...tell her Ansem says hello."

 

Sharumix paused at the door and looked over her shoulder at Namine. "I will." Then she walked back through the hallways and out of the mansion. She had to find Crowley in all the important worlds, and this was one of them. She walked through the woods and through the hole in the wall, and then she stopped. Where would Crowley be? Hmm. I'll start by looking everywhere important. She'd already been in the mansion, so she decided to check out the clock tower. Sharumix chuckled. You and me, we had some good times up on that tower, didn't we, Axel? It made her kind of sad to think of all those memories and good times being fake. Oh well. She had a job to do. She turned around to see if Orias had followed her or not. Maybe he had gone back to help Xenree. She wouldn't be surprised.

 

Orias followed Marushi, but just to tell her he would catch up to her later. "I'm gonna go find Xenree ok?" he told her as he stepped outside to where she was.

 

Xenree woke and scowled at Belle tending to her. "You're...supposed to be....dead." Belle simply smiled.

Namine's image flickered again and morphed into Crowley. "Cute....so she finally believes her duty and yet she still ventures onwards. I'm proud of you my little experiment. Now take what belongs not to you." He smiled and disappeared in a flurry of darkness.

On the clocktower a slim figure dressed in a black Organization coat sat on the edge, staring out at the sunset.

 

Sharumix turned and looked at Orias. "Okay. I'll see you later then." She turned back to keep walking, but paused. "And Orias," she said. "Take care of yourself, and Xenree." Then she walked forward through Twilight Town until she reached the clock tower. Looking up, she practically jumped out of her skin. There, sitting on the edge with feet dangling over, was a figure in a black hooded cloak. From this distance, she couldn't make out who it was, but, she figured, it was probably Crowley. summoning her keyblade just to be on the safe side, she went through the station and up to the tower. Taking a deep breath, she rounded the corner to see who awaited her.
