Remnants of The Wielders

Sharumix was getting dizzy and confused. When the strange vision of Crowley standing over something she couldn't quite make out had ended, she saw Xenree rushing at her and barely had time to raise her keyblade up to defend herself. So while her Keyblade took most of the damage, She fell backwards under the force of the attack. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" she screamed as she jumped back to her feet. She was getting tired out, the wierd visions and the voices were sapping her strength. You can't take much more of this, She thought. Remember that. You must never lose. Unless you want your body to be torn apart. She remembered when she gave up her life to save Orias, and how she had come back. She had got a second chance. At a price, yes, but there had been one. However, a third chance was more than unlikely. Holding her keyblade in front of her, she decided not to attack. Instead, she would reserve her strength for defending herself. She looked at Xenree, waiting...

 

Xenree growled but Crowley's voice stopped her, That's enough Xenree. I've seen what I needed to. Go back to your job I assigned. Xenree shook her head, I don't take orders to stop a fight! she snarled back to him and pressed onward. Slamming her Keyblade onto Sharumix's with enough force to knock it out of her hands.

 

The keyblade went flying and Sharumix looked at Xenree, suddenly realizing that it wasn't her friend rushing at her, it was death. "Ah!" She wasn't sure what happened next. She hadn't planned to do it, she didn't even think. She just held her hand up, in a sort of last-ditch attempt to defend herself. Darkness. Darkness formed and before she knew it, she had shot a large orb of dark fire at Xenree, almost identical to the ones Xenree had shot at her. As soon as it left her hand, she felt an adrenaline rush and pleasure surge through her. And yet, she also felt dissapointed, like she should have been stronger.

 

Xenree's bloodlust had taken control of her. Her mind realized what happened and was shocked that she'd been hit so badly. A burn sizzled on her chest from the fire but her body still struggled to stand. Leaning heavily on her Keyblade, Xenree stood and wobbled on her feet. Pain glazed her eyes that now shone with an intensity no normal human had. "I will...not....lose!" she rushed again at Sharumix, but before she could take two steps, she blacked out and fell unconscious to the floor.

Crowley sighed almost dramatically even though no one could hear him from the distance he was. "She may be beautiful and strong and determined, but she lacks a sense of when to quit. I'll have to teach her some manners." He smiled at the thought of the up coming lessons.

 

Hogsan rushed toward the group and pushed Sharumix away from Xenree. He was trying to fight the urge to yell at them for fighting again. "Ugh, I feel like a babysitter! Can't you guy go ten minutes without trying to kill each other." Hogsan knelt down next to Xenree to make sure she was alive.

 

Crowley snarled and sent a wave of energy to knock Hogson away from his prize.

Xenree's breathing was shallow and slow. But she wouldn't wake up for a while.

 

All Ren heard was the sounds of fighting before he saw Sharumix and Xenree fighting. "Okay, now why are you fighting?"

 

Sharumix was breathless from the fight and the rush of darkness that had surged through her. She looked down at Xenree's lifeless form and then around at the group of wielders gathered around them. She had to explain somehow. "Crowley..." was all she could say before another picture came. It was a girl, also lying lifeless on the ground, but this wasn't Xenree, and they weren't in the roads of Hollow Bastion. They were in some kind of round room with a strange sort of portal against one wall. The girl had red hair, and as Sharumix ran into the room, the picture faded, and a name danced across her memory. Kairi... Now she was back in the road, with Xenree on the ground and Hogsan kneeling next to her. Sharumix looked down and saw that she was still holding her keyblade. With a small sigh, she put it away, forgetting all about trying to explain.

 

Hogsan had the wind knocked out of him when he fell on his back. "I WAS JUST MAKING SURE SHE WAS OK!" He screamed to thin air. As he pulled himself to his feet, Hogsan glanced at Ren. "They're always fighting, and I'm always having to come in and pull them apart." Hogsan sounded exasperated and amused, almost like a father would sound after her children had got into a fist fight. "Lucky I'm strong or they might be dead by now." Hogsan smiled lightly and leaned against a wall with his hands behind his head. Despite his large size and muscle, Hogsan still looked strikingly like Sora.

 

Sharumix looked at Hogsan. "I've never fought Xenree before now." She looked at the ground, confused. "Did I?" Then something registered in her mind. "Hogsan," she said. "Crowley is here. He's controlling Xenree somehow." She didn't say anything about the pictures and voices in her head. Somehow, she didn't think anybody would understand.

 

When Xenree got mad at Orias, his nerves snapped. His darkness poured out, determined to take evryone and everything. Orias let out an inhumane roar and attacked Xenree with extreme speed and power that Zack was sure even Xenree wouldn't be able to dodge or block.

OOC: lol, especialy as Xenree is on the ground unconcious and Zack isn't anywhere near them.

 

OOC: Exactly. Orias is gonna kill people unless they help xD

 

Crowley warped himself directly beside Xenree's unconscious body. A shield formed around him and her, guarding them from Orias' darkness attack. "You should learn to control your anger better than that Orias. One day, your anger will destroy the one you love." he smiled ominously, hinting that he knew of Orias' affection for Xenree.

 

Sharumix glared at Crowley and summoned her keyblade. "Why are you doing this?" she asked. "What do you stand to gain by controlling Xenree?"

 

Crowley's attention turned to Sharumix. "There's plenty to gain from controlling this young girl. The descendent of the Hero of Darkness. Riku's descendent. She holds great potential to control vast amounts of darkness. You on the other hand...." his yellow eyes narrowed on her, "Are a failure. I see no progress made in you since the beginning."

 

"Wait, Xenree is Riku's descendent?" Sharumix was trying to remember. Where have I heard that name before? Didn't Orias say something about a Riku? And Hogsan, he said something about him, too. Then the other thing Crowley had said registered in her mind. "I'm a failure?" she repeated blankly. What did that mean? "I've shown no progress..." Then something clicked. Another memory rushed into her head, this time a memory of Crowley, frowning as he stood over her, assesing her. She was lying on the ground, eyes half open as she glared up at him. Someone was screaming. She didn't know... she knew everything... Pain, nothing else... too much, too much... her head was on fire... she couldn't... Darkness. The memory faded and she looked up at Crowley again, eyes flashing. "What did you do to me?" she said. "You must've done something, WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?"

 

Crowley shook his head, frowning just like in Sharumix's memory. "I've done nothing but guide you, No. ii. You failed me. You didn't turn out how I envisioned you to be and thus I gave up. How could I possible keep a failure like yourself. And yet..." his eyes opened and those golden/yellow irises focused on her, "You stand here before me now protesting that I am the one who made you faulty. Perhaps it was my fault....but perhaps it was yours to overcome your faults and glitches." Crowley leaned over Xenree, checked her pulse and smiled to himself, Maybe it'd be better for you if I left you here with them. You're old friends...right Xenree? he thought.

 

"What?" Sharumix didn't understand. She didn't want to understand. She wanted to be herself. Not... no. She wasn't like Xion. She wasn't a sham. "I AM NOT YOUR PUPPET!" She screamed as she ran at him with her keyblade.

 

Crowley jerked his hand up and Xenree lurched to her feet like a puppet on strings and took Sharumix's attack fully. Her eyes were still closed as she now bled over on Sharumix's Keyblade. Crowley growled at her, "Do you see what failing has done to you?! It's made you weak and pathetic. I should've disposed of you when I had the chance."
