"I don't know." Orias said. "Sora was there... Could he be..?"

 

Hogsan seemed to come out of a daze. "Woah, what the heck just happend?" He looked at Orias and Sharumix surprised at the concern on their face's. "What? Did I pass out or something?"

 

Sharumix looked at Hogsan. "Something like that," she said. "You don't remember anything you said just now?"

 

Hogsan scratched his head. "I don't. What did I say?"

 

Sharumix turned away. "Oh, nothing really. You were just... rambling." Great. Now why was she hiding what he had said from him? I don't understand anyone, least of all myself. She thought.

 

"Rambling." Hogsan sighed and smiled. "Of coarse. Just rambling. Orias, what did I say when I was out of it?"

and that's about it..." Orias told Hogsan

 

"Not to be rude," said Sharumix. "But are we going to break up that fight or what?"

 

"Ummm..... Should we?"orias asked her

 

Sharumix looked at him. "But I thought you said we... Oh, never mind. Yes, I think that would be best."

 

Xenree and Vincent grew tired of fighting and though Vincent was still in his Chaos form, Xenree flung hateful words at him along with her Keyblade. Eventually Vincent reverted back, exhausted and struggling to keep on his feet. "I'll give you that you're strong and persistent....but...I swear....as long as I draw breath....you will die...." Xenree's silver eyes glittered and she snarled, "You wish!"

 

Sharumix walked up to the two of them, keyblade in hand, ready to defend herself if things got ugly. "Come on, guys. Stop fighting." she said. "How did this get started, anyway?"

 

Hogsan was confused about what had happened, but he knew he couldn't stay that way. He stepped next to Sharumix and pulled out his keyblade as well. Marushi's right! This is pointless."

 

Orias stepped in front of them. "Break it up children."
Zack laughed. "Yeah, what the dude with black hair said."

 

Vincent kept Cerberus trained on her and Xenree grinned under her hood. He winced slightly and Xenree's Keyblade disappeared. "Thanks for the memories Vincent. I'll be sure to give the townspeople your regards." She pushed past Orias and Zack, heading toward town, "Oh....and Crowley sends his appreciation." She laughed and bolted down the crystal and stone path toward town.

Vincent rubbed his head, "Dammit, no!" Sliding Cerberus into his holster, he closed his red eyes and shook his head slowly. "Crowley...."

 

Sharumix looked at Vincent. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Do you know Crowley?"

 

Vincent opened his eyes and focused on her, "Yes, in a way.... Crowley is in a way an old friend of the doctors and Doctor Cressent's. He's a tinkerer in things that are beyond human comprehension."

Xenree laughed as the people in Hollow Bastion ran from her and her dark energy. She couldn't quite understand what Crowley wanted with their hearts but the more he fiddled with that little pendent he now wore, she couldn't refuse what he asked.

Xenree stopped just outside the town and glanced back to Orias. Her mind straining for the old mental connection and failing to make. Her silver eyes were dull from how much Crowley had manipulated her, "Can I help you?" Orias....my friend....
