Sharumix also turned to look at Xenree fighting Orias. "Very," she agreed. She remembered that she should be proud of Xenree's skill, but she also knew that she should be indignant that Crowley seemed to consider her to be his personal proprty. Still, he had a point. Xenree wasn't human anymore. That much was true. If she had been, she wouldn't be treating Orias the way she was. But then, She wasn't human anymore either, and she wasn't attacking Orias and telling him that she didn't want him anymore. And Xenree had known him way longer than she had. But Xenree would never do that of her own free will, Sharumix decided. Somehow, Crowley. had control over her, control of the darkness that Xenree had surrounded herself with. Sharumix vowed then and there to never let the darkness have her. "And as for fighting you," she said. "I don't especially want to. I'm just being careful."

Hogsan was staring at the giant hole in the floor. If he hadn't seen it when he walked in he would have fallen right in. After He had walked down the stairs Hogsan found a small door in the wall, and soon Hogsan found himself standing in a dark new world. Some people were fighting somewhere in the distance. It was a while before Hogsan realized that it was Orias and Xenree (But it didn't look like Xenree that much, it just felt like Xenree) who were fighting. He also saw Xarumix and Crowly. How could that be, Marushi was standing there when he'd seen her die with his own eyes. Hogsan started running like crazy towards them as he did so he pulled out his keyblade. "Hey, you guys just left after Marushi died and Matt and I were left to fight the heartless. But apparently Marushi didn't die because she's right here except with new clothes and a new hair do. Who's this weird guy and why isn't Xenree still.... well Xenree anymore, why is Orias fighting her? How come you're back Marushi did you like not die or something? Or are you a heartless now? Is that what happened to Xenree? Is she a heartless now?" Hogsan said all of this very fast.

 

Crowley glanced at Hogson and somehow comprehended all of his questions. "Xenree is a Nobody not a Heartless idiot. Or else you'd see a Heartless symbol on her. Do you see one on your friend Sharumix here? I didn't think so. Xenree fights because she has to. To fully understand and control the power of darkness like Riku once did, she must cut all ties to friends, family and other members that hold pieces of her heart that no longer exists. Xenree...doesn't exist. Simple as that."

 

Orias was getting tired. He had one last chance to awaken the true Xenree. "Cmon.... Xenree," He said in between breaths, "Is that.... all you got? hehehe. You're pretty weak compared to me now." He stared into her eyes. If what Crowley says is true, he told her telepathically, Then is Marushi one too?

 

"Hello, Hogsan." Sharumix said, still watching Crowley. "Yeah, I'm not dead. It surprised me, too."

 

Xenree's eyes widened and a natural response was elicted from her lips, "What are you talking about! Look who's winning!" Freezing, Xenree stared at him for a long moment before thinking back to him, Sharumix....is a Nobody, like me. That was a dirty trick Orias....I'm not your friend anymore. This being....is the one that will get stronger and you're only holding me back! Darkness swirled around her and covered her for a second before it cleared and her wings spread wide.

Crowley's eyes grew wide as he watched Xenree. A bit of drool slipped from his lips. Such power....how could he not want to control it? It was so raw, and full of anger, pain, and frustration. She must have felt something great when she left this Orias behind.

 

Aha! You are in there! Only Xenree would respond like that. He was really weak now. I may die trying to save you from this... whatever it is. If I do, then promise me you won't forget about me Xenree. You've always been my best friend, the real you, not this you. he smiled before looking over at Crowley. Is he drooling? he accidentally told Xenree through thought, What a pervert! -_-'"

 

Xenree turned her head slightly to see Crowley drool and anger burst inside her. "EVERLASTING DARKNESS! WHIP, LASH, CONFINE!" her hand slapped the ground and a root of darkness speeded toward him, wrapping Crowley up and covering his mouth and eyes. The only downside...the darkness root was chained around her ankle, restricting her movements. She flung Dark Void at Orias, thinking to him, I never changed....this is who I am. This is what happens to a descendent of Riku, the Hero of Darkness.

 

He smashed it to the side It doesnt have to! he told her. You aren't Riku, you don't have to be like him! You're not like him, you're too... he couldnt tell her what he felt for her, not now. He would have to regain his strength, and get her back later. "go." he told her." Go before I change my mind and really start to fight back." he turned around and walked back toards Marushi and Hogsan. "let's go you guys"

 

Xenree's Keyblade disappeared from the ground and watched him leave, she reeled in Crowley and dragged him away, towards a broken looking castle. Her thoughts still with Orias, I'll always be the Xenree you know...just a little different on the outside.

 

Orias sighed. He was on the verge of tears.

 

Xenree left with Crowley. If she had her heart, she'd be crying. Crowley praised her with mumbles and she ignored him. Reaching the doors of the broken castle, she pushed through with him.

 

Sharumix didn't want to leave Xenree, but Orias was more in need than she was. So, with a final look over to Xenree, she turned to follow Orias.

 

Orias didn't feel like talking. He felt like he wanted- no, needed Xenree there. Was she... ever really my friend? he didnt mean to, but he had said as he thought it. He didn't care if Hogsan and Marushi heard, he was just, really sad. As impossible as it may have seemed before, his spirit was broken. He had lost all the will to fight.

 

"Of course she was your friend, Orias." Sharumix said. "The darkness has a hold on her, that's all. There was nothing you could have done differently. She will come back to her senses. Darkness might seem like it's winning, but the Light will always overcome." She looked straight into his face, even though she knew he was too dejected to realize it. "Don't stop fighting for what you believe in. Even if you lose everything, never give up on what you believe in." She thought about the words she had spoken. If only she really believed it. She had been telling him what he needed to hear to continue. She, however, was beginning to wonder wether or not that was true. Was the Light truly stronger? Or Darkness? Xenree had been stronger, much stronger, than Orias.

 

Xenree stood beside Crowley and faced a stone tablet with written words in a different language. As Crowley translated, Xenree was at war with herself. Seeing Orias so broken had triggered something else inside her. "It's my fault...." Crowley snorted, "The boy was weak. He'll live. Don't fret. It doesn't become you." Xenree felt her rage flare again, "Shut up..." Her wings tightly folded against her back in anger and once Crowley had finished translating and doing something with his blood on the tablet and taking hers and smearing it on the tablet, a bright blue light split from the tablet and engulfed her. Gritting her teeth against the pressure, Xenree faced the light.

 

Orias felt a certain rage at Marushi. "What good is it if my best friends gone!?" he yelled at her. It wasn't her fault, he was just too mad to be sad.

 

The light reflected off a wall and headed upwards, dragging Xenree with it. THe light sent her flying upwards and through the ceiling of the castle. Xenree felt the power of the light burn through her and knocked her unconscious.

Crowley picked up her body from the ground and carried her into a dark corridor. "The amount of beauty and power in this one...will make me a very satisfied man."

 

It was a good thing she couldn't feel anymore, Sharumix relected. If she could, she probably would have got really mad. As it was, she still thought it very rude of him. It wasn't her fault that Xenree had left. But, he had a point. Unfortunately she had no answer. So she just followed him silently.

 

"It's not Marushi's fault, Orias." said Hogsan through gritted teeth. He had clenched his fists into balls and was blinking rather rapidly (He wasn't crying, it was just something he did when he was mad or confused). "And by the way she's right. Light always wins. Even Riku, in all his darkness there was always a light burning strong. And it was that light that saved him. His friendship with Sora and Kairi was strong enough to penetrate the dark thoughts and destroy Ansem. And Xenree's friendship for you will win. You just wait and see."
