Remnants of The Wielders

Cold fire burned in Xenree's hand as she backed away from him. How could she look him in the eye and show him her lack of feeling for him. The boy she'd grown up with, shared everything with. This wasn't happening. Lobbing the ball of dark fire at Orias, she tried to aim it so it wouldn't hit him but the ground close to him.


Farther off, a man stood waiting for the decendent of the Hero of Darkness. He was getting impatient but waiting for her would be worth it. At least that's what he'd been informed of. His figure shrouded in the shadows, he smirked as he witnessed Xenree's hostile display to keep the young boy and new Nobody away from her.

 

Orias dodged the ball of Dark Fire. "Hey, Xenree, whats your problem?"

 

Xenree fisted her empty hand and turned on her heel, walking away from them. My problem is you." she thought to them, telepathically sending her thought to Orias.

The man in the shadows moved up behind Xenree, facing Orias and Sharumix. "I think it's best you leave the girl to me."

 

Orias scowled. So then this was a waste of time? He thought back. He turned to the man in shadows and said, "Take her, clearly she doesn't want to be my friend anymore. Let's go Marushi," then he left

 

Sharumix had been startled by the ball of fire, and she hadn't been able to hear Xenree's telapathic message to Orias, but it was obvious that Xenree was not Xenree anymore. She had been about to leave too, but the stranger that suddenly showed up demanding that they leave Xenree to him made her decide to stay and fight. She wasn't angry, and she didn't feel sorry for Xenree or worried for her, but it seemed clear to her that a friend, however little thay actually cared for someone, didn't simply leave a friend to be dealt with by a strange dark man. Orias probably wouldn't have, either, he just was troubled by the way Xenree had treated him. I guess it's a good thing I don't feel anything. she thought. "And what if I don't?" she asked. Not rudely or in defiance, simply curious.

 

Xenree was hit by a force that felt like an emotion she should know and stumbled to her knees again. She stifled her cry of pain and kept moving forward, away from her old friends.

The man smirked in the darkness, "Oh, you'll leave. Since he's already given up on her, a Nobody will too. It's only a matter of the way you think." he spoke logically and without a hint of anger or fear in his voice that Sharumix hadn't listened and left too.

 

Orias looked back. He saw Marushi arguing with the man, and Xenree getting up and leaving. I won't lose her! He ran forward past Marushi and the man, and tackled Xenree. "You're coming with me!" He demanded. "And don't try to resist, because I'll fight back!" He summoned his keyblade so she would see he was serious. "Get up." he told her

 

Xenree stared at him. Her silver eyes brightly watching him as she stood without a word. She spoke to his mind for the moment, "Why are you doing this Orias. I told you to leave me alone. I don't want you here. You must leave!"

The man turned, his yellow eyes following Orias and settled on the two, "Heh, so you'd prefer to make her work to make you see the truth. Xenree....show them the truth."

Xenree seemed to flinch when he said her name. Her eyes left Orias' and stared at the ground.

 

"Orias, I guess you didn't leave." Sharumix summoned her Keyblade. She didn't expect that it also would have changed. Where it had been bright purple before, it now was pure black. She turned to the stranger. "Let's fight," she said tauntingly, holding her keyblade outstretched in front of her. She didn't expect to win, she was just trying to hold him off so Orias could talk to Xenree.

 

Not a chance!he thought back. Tears welled up in his eyes, but that sadness became rage.I won't lose you! You're my best friend! What about our parents, our home, and Trixis? What do you think she would say if she knew about this!?

 

Xenree's eyes flicked from the man to Orias and she finally spoke. Her words muffled slightly by her clenched teeth, "I told you to leave. I'm not...the one Trixis and you know so well. Don't make me force you to go Orias." She stood, pushing away from him and held her Keyblade out to him, just under his chin.

The man turned back to Sharumix, "I'm going to train little Xenree in the ways of Darkness so she can properly follow dear Riku's footsteps. Riku chose the wrong way to handle darkness, but I know Xenree won't."

 

Sharumix didn't lower her Keyblade. Although she was now intrigued, she still knew it was stupid to let down your gaurd ever. "And what is the right way, I wonder?" she asked. "I won't pretend to know who this Riku person is, but I've always been made to believe that following any path of Darkness is the wrong way to handle things. Are you telling me that I have been misled in my thinking?" She was always learning something new, she reflected. Just the last few days she had learned how to fight the heartless, make friends, and how to make sacrifices for those friends. What would she learn today?

 

The man pulled off his hood, revealing a head of black hair and those yellow eyes glittered darkly, "My name is Crowley. And you've been fed lies your entire life. Come...I'll make it worth your while. Perhaps no one's told you what you've become. I can tell you, teach you, and hone you in the ways of darkness so that no one will threaten you or your friends ever...again." he smiled. He was young and yet older than his appearance suggested.

 

Orias glared at Xenree. She isn't the Xenree I know.... "yaaaaah!" he swung at her. "Think you'll make me leave? Guess again!" He charged atr her She may say she's not Xenree, but I know that she's lying. "Cmon then, fight me! Give it your all!" he taunted

 

Xenree dodged his swing and swung Dark Void down on his head.

 

OOC: holy shniekies.... XD i missed alot.... may i have a major recap please? O-o;;;;

 

OOC: We got to the mansion and met a whole bunch of friends. the Orias got on a team with Marushi, Xenree and Trixis. Xenree and amrushi have changed and Orias is gonna attack the new Xenree.

BIC: Orias dodged and glared at her again. "That cant be all you've got!" He said. "Weakling." He was trying to reach the old Xenree, his Xenree that, he had to accept the fact. The Xenree he was in love with (OOC: ZOMG! XD) She's in there, I just know it

 

Darkness swirled around Xenree as she breathed calmly and dashed at him, her Keyblade flying high to distract him as her fist came low to strike him in the stomach. The darkness adding more of a kick to her punch.

 

Sharumix appeared to consider. "Well, Crowley," she said after a moment. "I do believe that you have a lot you could teach me, about what I am and all that stuff. But at the same time, there's something telling me that you won't be able to keep threats from happening to my friends. Actually, I think that you are the biggest threat we know right now. Besides," here she tightened her grip on the handle of her keyblade. "I would never ditch Orias like that." She glanced over at Orias, fighting with Xenree and clearly getting upset. She knew (or thought she knew) what he was going through. She had felt that way when she thought she would lose Orias, and now he was losing the most important person on the world to him. Sharumix looked back at Crowley. "Not right now, when he needs me. That just doesn't make any sense." She waited, trying to be prepared for an attack if it came.

 

Crowley lifted one shoulder and sighed, "If that's how it's going to be....you'll be disappointed to know that Xenree is no longer....human exactly. She's one of mine now and there's nothing you or he can do about it. If you wish to fight me...you're out of luck, I'm mearly here to see that she makes it home." he glanced back at Xenree fighting with Orias and smirked. "Talented isn't she?"
