Do I remember that day? Yes. I could never forget.

The skies turned gray. Black clouds blotted out any hopes of sunshine. Any hopes of retribution. Everyday I felt dead. I moved, I breathed, my heart pumped blood, but there was nothing inside. No reason to go on. I woke up each morning hoping that it would just end already. Praying for some kind of resolution to the story that had gone on for far too long.

Finally, hope. The night that my happiness returned. A night of joy, my life rekindled. But that was it: a night. It almost became worse after. I had been reunited with peace, but so quickly had it escaped me yet again.

And now, this day, my life has purpose once more. Not again will it be only one night of joy, but an indefinite continuation. As if my veins have been filled with a newer blood, my eyes seeing in brighter colors. Toonami. I won't let go this time. Don't let go of me either.

Hmmm, if they do show new content this could mean they could show the Madoka dub.

    But more importantly
a Steins;Gate dub (that will probably not live up to the original, but HD)

    god bless

EDIT: also KENSHIN AND FLCL AND TRIGUN

    those should also show up
    like mandatory appearances

    Trigun and FLCL especially.

These kids need culture. Even if we don't get to watch it, they need to put some of this stuff in front of the newer generation.

Didn't they already play all of Trigun years ago? There's also Saiyuki and Sekirei. I wouldn't mind both of those played. Kenshin doesn't sound like a bad idea, or Steins;Gate. But there's also Future Diary, and yes, Madoka Dub does sound good

Soo, somebody want to explain to me exactly what Toonami is? And Adult swim? I mean I have Cartoon Network, and I live in the UK and I haven't heard of either.

Toonami was a show that used to be on years ago. It was the number one source for watching a variety of different shows/animes, like Dragon Ball Z, Teen Titans, all that good stuff.

I'm honestly not too sure about Adult Swim though, I think it's American. I like in the UK too so, if it is I wouldn't know too much about it. Plus I was pretty young when Toonami was on, so even if Adult Swim wasn't strictly American, I doubt I would have paid much attention to it.

Back in the 1990s Cartoon Network had a slot for anime called Toonami. It was universally loved by everyone who watched it, and it got cancelled when new management took over. Bastards.

Adult Swim was similar to Toonami or may have overlapped but it was/is for the more adult shows and showed late at night. Look them up for more information.

Toonami was basically the programming block that introduced anime to the 90s kids outside of Japan. (except maybe Pokemon)

Speaking of which, this made me laugh

We did have toonami in the UK but it was slightly different. It didn't have like the majority of the stuff that americans associate with it, and was actually its own channel for a bit ... so it was a bit different.

Also, I am somewhat concerned that people're gonna expect it to be like Toonami Aftermath or something liek they're only gonna show the old shows. It's more likely that they're gonna show newer shows. omg Imagine if the Steins;Gate dub was on there ... if they dub it ...

I browsed the Funimation site a few days ago and saw they had a page for it, so, I'm guessing it's in the works.

Toonami was great. Such memories. I remember that we used to go out every Saturday and I would behavce just to stay up late and watch my favorite anime heroes: Kenshin, Gohan, etc. And now that Toonami is back, I hope that it stays longer than it did last time. I know deep in my heart that [adult swim] will not pull a Nicktoons on us and "have problems" airing the block (like Nicktoons with the DBZ movies)

Also: The schedule (so far) according to wikipedia:

    Astro Boy (1963 series) (TV-PG)
    Bleach (TV-14-V)
    Trigun (TV-14-V)
    Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (TV-14-V)
    Cowboy Bebop (TV-14-V)
    ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
And DBZ since it was aired on April Fools' Day.

They need the old stuff. I mean, newer anime is too... kid friendly (the ones I've seen)

^This. Now I have hope once More
