Hell yes I remember this. I cried like a baby. Good thing my parents weren't home or I would have had some weird explaining to do.

 

I dont care, I beat this game after almost 7 years -___- I felt a lot when I ended it >:


I think its the sadest ending in the FF franchise, because in the others they did get together...But this one left you thinking he was gone forever.

Seriously, I liked the story and all, but the ending is not really that sad. Mainly cause I found Tidus annoying and whiny, and Yuna kinda boring, so I didn't care for the pairing. Something like Final Fantasy VIII's got me depressed though, since Squall was almost stuck in another dimension.

 

I thought IX's ending was pretty sad. Mainly because I liked Kuja and we don't really know what happened to him. I'm just assuming he died. But he was an interesting villain and a great manipulator.

 

I never finished the game because it was broken after the third Seymour fight, but though I didn't want to, I saw little specs of the final ending, I saw the full speech

I never saw the full goodbye though.. it was sadder than I imagined.

X-2 is a **** stain on the radiant tightie whities that was FFX.

 

Never was a Final Fantasy fan (played FF7, FFX, FFX-2, and FF12). It tries so hard to have an epic story, it forgets that the gameplay has to be fun too (exception being Paper Mario, turn-based combat always got on my nerves).
As for this one....Good gravy, KH2's Sora has competition for the "Most Obnoxious Protagonist" award. The story of a wimpy jock with daddy issues just didn't appeal to me.

 

Never was a fan of kasey trolling (seen TMM, Son of Sam, Toshi, and a few guys on youtube). He tries so hard to start an epic shitstorm, he forgets that he has to be covert in the process (exception being most people on /b/, what the **** made them think they would get an /i/ board).
As for this one....Good gravy, CtR has competition for the "Most Obvious Attempt at Trolling" award. Trying to start a shitstorm by just insulting everything in sight just doesn't appeal to me.

You havent played the others have you? Final Fantasy 7 featured Cloud, a sad little man that was emo, Final Fantasy 8 had Squall, a mute who DIDNT LIKE ANYONE (Till Riona...but he was still a sour puss) Final Fantasy 9 had Zidane, he was cheerful, but towards the end of the game, (by like disc 2) BECAME DEPRESSED DX


So they decided to bring in Tidus, a cheerful person full of life. And fans were sorta happy for once WHILE PLAYING THE GAME. The gameplay was fun, the story wasnt hard to follow and was acutally a really, really good storyline.

and about Tidus being "Annoying..." People were just mad that Square introduced A happy teenager protaganist instead of a Whiny teenager emo boy with love issues.

The did a epic job on the story, and this was an epic game.
