    You know the one
The one that was so absolutely intense that it left you sweating
That moment where it's almost as if you and the boss are both predicting eachother's movements
That one instant where you turn the impossible possible and somehow manage tow in.
What was that boss fight /khv/?

Honestly for me, it was basically fighting against Darth Vader and The Emperor in Force Unleashed. I have yet to actually have a fight that took a while and made me freak out like that. There have been boss fights that made me sweat and work for it, but it was just those boss fights that you guard when needed, but just wail away when possible and make sure you don't die from a huge, ridiculously powerful attack

Mysterious Figure with Terra, my most epic boss victory in recent memory.
Beating The Egg (SaGa Frontier 2) was also very satisfying.

    Any battle with Sephiroth ever.
Safer in FF7 isn't the hardest boss ever, but all that leads up to that and then having him just floating their blowing up the sun a bajillion times is nerve racking. Then dear lord...the fight afterwards about made me faint because I thought my almost dead Cloud was going to have to face him gain alone.

The first time I fought Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts II. At this point, I had already beaten him in KH1, and I remember saying to myself "Good God, I never want to fight that monster again..."
And then, low and behold, I find him again during a grinding run. The first thing I thought was "No f*ckin' way."
From then I proceeded to re-beat the One Winged Angel.

All the boss fights from El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. Same can go for all the boss fights of Prince of Persia (2008). Hm...I honestly can't think of more for some reason.

The Vizier in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Probably the most beautiful boss fight ever.

That! That one was a great fight. Countering seemed to be the best(and the only?) way to beat him. All the fights later on in the quadrilogy(quadrology?) weren't as wonderful but I still loved the other games. (Even though the Forgotten Sands sucks in many areas, it has the best platforming of any Prince of Persia game).

    He was actually
really easy because he was just an old man,
but that made it all the more beautiful because it was unexpectedly realistic.

I actually refuse to play any of it's sequels because the whole series just went down hill after it. It was such a great game with a great ending, and then they went "nope, we gotta make it M-rated so people will buy it." So I don't consider any of the other games canon.

Ansem/Xehanort/whoever the guy is at the end of KH1
I remember being an angry 12 year old sitting in her saucer chair at 2 am and my hands were so sweaty when defeating that guy.

ngl the same can be said for Xemnas just because the battle is so long. I mean we have to beat him like 4 times or something?

edit: a few persona bosses too man
Nyx's Avatar, Shadow Rise, basically every Shadow in P4 because I am terrible at that game,

All of the Colossi in Shadow of the Colossus. I cannot think of one that was not a great fight.

There were tons of bosses like that in The Legend of Dragoon. Probably my favorite by far is
the fight with the knight ghosts on the phantom ship.
That is still of my favorite stages in any game.
