Kingdom Hearts III Release Date Predictions

Like I said with KH3 being out this year, it's just what I've heard.

 

two month ago no one would believe KH III was being developed.. so anything could happen by now. I would bet just like:

The only thing I would change is that I don't think they would leave a whole year to a browser game to count it as a new release.. so I would'nt be surprised if KH III was out by 2015 and PC browsers way before maybe this year.

 

Also guys, why would they have it on preorder now if it's not coming out for another year or so?

 

Actually, that bit at the end was supposed to be gameplay. Of course, since they're still working out the kinks, we can't expect it to look in the end quite like it does in the trailer. Hopefully it'll be as pretty, but...

Well, we have proof that he found the announcement to be premature¹, so I'd take whatever you heard with a grain of salt.

Well, it was animated. It wasn't in-game gameplay, just a demonstration of what it might look like.

 

I know I'm getting off topic here, but if FFXV is cancelled, I swear I will rage uncontrollably in my house. Or at least, my own room...

 

I say it'll be out in JP earlyish 2015, and for ports, late 2015

Lets not forget, it's BEEN in development for a little while now in secrecy, just not in full force. It's just recently been put into full force.

And 2.5 will come out early 14 in Japan, and mid 14 everywhere else.

Lol, wait, is Kingdom Hearts X supposed to be taken seriously? That's like a side, side title.

 

The game has been in development as early as September 2012, that is about a year so my guess is about 2015. I would hope for a 2014 release though, though that probably wont happen.

 

The thing is, it being in development for a year doesn't say too much about when it will be released. Let's not forget that Final Fantasy XV has been in development for seven years and won't be hitting shelves until probably 2015. Of course, there are a lot reasons surrounding XV's delays, but time in development is not necessarily an indicator for when it will release, especially for Square-Enix.

 

And it turns out....... you're right! But yeah, since x [chi] is released, KHIII will be released in either late 2015 or early 2016, depending on the progress of the development.
