I like him and everything, but why is it that every good anime drawn figure has tails and cat ears?

 

He's a dog-lycan thingy...so yeah​

 

I don't mean any offense by it, just kinda is weird to me.

I like how you have the position of the arms, and how the shirt comes up slightly.

The doggyness is a big plus in my eyes too. xD

 

Technically it's good. However, I hate animal eared people, like poison, which incidentally I've never tried. The sword also could use some reforging.

Dog ears are amazing.

Though I do agree with the sword point, no pun intended. (God, that sounded so lame. ._.)
Try to have the sword in proportion to the body; most katanas (which I'm assuming it is) are anywhere from two to three feet long.
I know it takes practice to draw the "perfect" sword for your character, but still, great job. ^^

Though, his facial expression seems kinda vacant. x__x

I dunno if that's on purpose or not though, so besides that it's really really awesome. Good work! Keep up drawing, you've obviously got a talent for it.

 

Oh, I meant it was a tad bit crooked and the tip curves over too much to look cool.
