Site News Regarding Derep

Due the the very high increase in derep investigation requests, the KHV staff will no longer investigate and/or change a derep for any individual. You may request to have a derep you have given to someone removed, but all other requests will be ignored. We encourage people not to derep without signing their name or having a good reason for it.

If you disagree with the decision, you may start a petition to have the entire rep system removed in our suggestions forum.

Can we get a credit system instead?

 

I believe this was suggested before. But aside from using it to pay in the graphic shop...what else would we use it for? I really see no point, unless there was something that the website provided us to pay for.

And no....I don't wanna pay currency for my name changes, not for anything, actually, since there's nothing cool....unless a team of artists worked for the site and gave it cool things we could buy and/or sell. Otherwise...I see really no point in a currency system other than the illegal trafficking of it >.>, if that's even possible xD

But on a more important note...No one would benefit from currency, not even the artists, because they wouldn't need to spend it on anything. And if this system was implanted, I believe a bank should also be placed, so that we could open accounts for our currency, or simply open accounts for a social groups(Gentlemen, Z team...and any other)

RvR didn't you read my post in the Staff Section? o: There is a feature, we've even discussed it back when Sara was admin. The only thing is that I believe you have to pay for it, and knowing vB it isn't cheap. Go back to the thread discussing derep, I SWEAR I brought it up. xD

No, but seriously if it could be done, there's still the fact of how to use the currency. I think getting something we aren't going to use, or use with no goal in mind, would be kinda pointless.

 

I had a few ideas such as buying name changes, the ability to edit one's usertitle, premium membership, a larger avatar file size allowance, etc. But I dunno if any of that is possible so we'll see.

Well I'm glad about this decision.

People who complain about being derepped = butthurt.

Plus, I usually have a sincere reason for derepping someone, but I like to leave vague comments and remain anonymous too and if the derep was reversed for those reasons, I would rage.

 

Is there a way to make it so that a person automatically signs the rep/negarep they give? Regardless of if they sign it or not, their name automatically appears by any rep given (written or a link, just something automatic)?​

 

Let's keep it as is. This way people can get easily pissed.

 

Removing the rep can be a wise decision, or a foolish one..

I guess the staff is being overloaded with rep requests, and that way get too busy. But people will start complaining much more when there is no rep count at all... At least, that's what I think.

On the other hand, rep is only good for turning premmy.


Either way, I'm fine with it.

As much as I like getting more rep gems, once you break 100 and turn premium, there really is no point.
