Wellp, season 11 trailer is up now: http://roosterteeth.com/archive/?sid=rvb&v=more I loved Red vs Blue, but the last two seasons have been discouraging for me. This has reached the eh level for me, I don't feel nearly as hyped as I did in 9 or 10. I do admit, if they go back to their roots and cover what happened after the break-in, they refound a die-hard fan. But right now, I'm not really enjoying Red vs Blue as much as I used to. What do you guys think?
Hi I'm Nova and I love this series ENTIRELY TOO MUCH for how indifferent I am to Halo I didn't even think more was coming, so I'm excited. I kinda jumped in late - like way late, pretty sure 10 was already concluded by the time I caught up, but... yeah. Interested to see what they'll do with it now that the Freelancers are (presumably) out of the spotlight.
I know what you mean, I joined at the end of season 8 when a friend of mine was like: "Hey, watch this." It was season 8 episode 10. I sat down for the next month and watched Red vs Blue non-stop after that. lolz... Just the trailer really showed not that much promise. I am hoping it's not the "intro" to the season as Roosterteeth is so fond of doing, because they have had a tendency recently to do a lot of events that are behind the scenes and explain it vaguely afterwards. Hence the reason I don't like 10 mostly because they skipped everything I really looked forward to in Freelancer since season 6. The fact that it's the same writers as 10 is alarming also, so I go into the series with trepidation this season, which I never had before. I am hoping I'm wrong.
I'm gonna be honest, RvB isn't the same as it was years ago. What happened to the quirky humor and loving characters we looked out for like Sarge, Tucker, and especially Caboose? Sure they're in the recent seasons, but they're not the same as they were. The first 4 seasons were my favorite. they lived up to their name: Reds fight Blues. I loved those old seasons and I watch them from time to time. Now it's got freelancers and this other stuff mixed in. It kinda lost its touch and it's not within its roots anymore.
