It's not a direct sequel to Red Dead Revolver but it's in the same style as it. And the main character looks almost like Red...until you see his face. I'm pretty sure none of the original characters(or any decendants) will be in this game. But who knows.
I've done a lot of browsing in regards to this game, and I can say that I'm really looking forward to it. It doesn't look like there will be that many different weapons, but there's supposed to be more than 30 species of animals, and the world is the one of the biggest out there. I have it pre-ordered, so I'm getting the special edition. I really hope the hype doesn't make it any less of a game, but it really doesn't look like it, I'm a huge fan of open world games, a huge fan of GTA style games, and a huge fan of westerns. This looks like it could be one of my favorite games to come out in a long time.
I have a few friends who are going to get this game. They're big fans of GTA and they really have high hopes for it. If I can get my hands on it from a friend I will certainly give it a try. I like open world games.
Play Red Dead Revolver first. That is currently the best Old West game right now(I don't see how anyone can like Gun more than it). My brother got it preordered for his birthday even though I've been waiting years for this game ever since it was the Old West Project. I can't wait to recreate some good old fashioned shoot outs.
My friend has been hyping over this since I asked what he thoguht about it. I can't say his hype is misplaced, it's looking good all around the board, with gameplay and multiplayer Redemption should be a great game. I want me a Posse!!!
