I need to ask two different questions in this... so here goes...

    1) I want to download an Adblocker (not to do with the recent Ads on the forum) But I'm not sure what to go for.
So far I've managed to find this.

and it seems to be the best one, but I wanted to ask you guys before I do anything.

    2) I'm looking for a decent video editing software that is preferably free and not Windows Movie Maker... any ideas? If there is such a thing?

As far as the 1st one, I'm not sure, I use Firefox with adblocker plus.
As far as 2, There are ways of aquiring "free" software, so to speak, like Sony Vegas. However, if you're looking for 100% freeware, check out Avid FreeDV.

I'll try Adblocker plus then. XD
but yeah, I suppose I could. But as for the Avid FreeDV, I did try that, but it refused to install, saying it wasn't supported on my OS or something.. lol

Can't you ignore that message? Are you using W7 or another OS? If so, you might be able to change the compability of the installfile.
If not, you have Wax and Zwei-Stein

I have Windows 7, and I've never had a problem installing things on it before now.
No matter what I tried... I couldn't ignore the message. It would just auto close the installer, and while I'm good with computers and such.. I have no idea how to change the compatibility of the install file.. :/

I would think it would be the same as a normal executable file, which would be rightclick, properties, compability and choose for example Windows XP. I'm not certain if this will work, but there are links to the other two in my earlier post.

If you want free video editing software, you could give AviSynth a try. It's a bit unique in that it has no GUI, but rather you write down commands in a text-document, like a program. Would probably help if you had prior knowledge of programming, though it has a Wiki with a couple of guides for the basic stuff, so it's not needed per se.

It seems to be working, cheers for that.
I'll let you know how it works, (by edit of this post)

EDIT: The install worked... but the programme after that kept getting an error every time I tried to use the application. :/
I may just yeah, try and go for Vegas.

Do the same compability thing with the executable file of the program.
