Reasons for reading Twilight

Ok, so I guess I overgeneralised in that respect. I know that not all people who like Twilight are crazy. But when almost every female at your school is (And I am not blowing things out of proportion here: EVERY GIRL at my school is like this, save for perhaps one or two), its gets very nerve-grating. Even more so now that one of the local stores I used to frequent was a really good seller of teenage clothing outside of the 'mainstream' so to speak. Ever since Twilight, it has been taken over by some new guy and transformed into an Edwardfest. They don't even sell guys clothing anymore...

 

Oh heck, that is freaky.
Same happened here, even the one good manga store we have has Twilight stuff taking over. >.>

 

Everyone was going on about it, so I decided to give it a shot. I regret it, I really do. D| I skipped half the second book, cause she was being a whiny idiot and the third one was just boring, along with the last one. I skipped chapters in ALL of them.

The story is just so.. meh and the characters are too mary/gary-sue (perfecccttt) and .. just no.

I read Twilight for a book competition RIGHT before the hype started. It wasn't bad,not the best book ethier. I went to see the movie:bad,just awfull.Started reading New Moon, wanted to kill Bella for loosing her independance(I mean force her to watch Edward burn then watch her kill herself in some creative fashion.) I got to page 150 and couldn't go on. Bella and most of the other characters killed the series for me. I don't give a care that Edward is your "Angel". GET A FLIP'N LIFE AND A FEW BRAIN CELLS WHILE YOUR AT IT!!! KNOW YOUR TOWN LIKE THE BACK OF YOUR HAND INSTEAD OF YOUR BOYFRIEND'S BODY!!!
Gahhh I'm done now.
I have nothing against you if you are a true fan(You read Twilight BEFORE the movie came out.),but I just can't stand it!

 

I stole my sister's Twilight book and read up to page 50. I was braindead at how awful it was. And from reading a paragraph of New Moon over my friend's shoulder, Bella was just being a Vampwhoore. To me, Bella is just a emo girl how hates her life (no wonder she tries to kill herself so many times in the second book) and Edward is even more so. I watched Twilight before the craze ccame out and it was bad, awful, worse. I was braindead after the first half hour at the fact that Bella took years to form a sentence and kept the same facial expression, Edward took ages to form sentences too and Jasper looked like the actor had been out drinking the past night.
