The /2 part stands for Roxas and Xion, who are both two parts of Sora who exist within this time frame of 358 Days.

Coicendentally, 358+ 7 Days (the time frame of you playing as Roxas in KH2) adds up to 365 Days, which is essientally a year.

Feel sorry for Roxas, as he only lives for exactly 1 year.

Roxas doesn't die. He becomes one with his other and can strive alongside Sora to rescue Kairi/Namine. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I agree :D Furthermore, if Roxas really died, he wouldn't have appeared to see Naminé again near the end of Kingdom Hearts II, nor in the ending where we saw that he had become a part of Sora. Nyaaa ^_^

A good deal? DiZ sent Riku to go berserk on him, captured him, erased his freaking memories and let him live for seven days in a fake town with fake memories, while fighting against his former friend, and instead of believing him (Axel), he calls out desperately to three fake puppets created by DiZ who he thinks are his friends.

Afterwards, he is lured to the mansion and finally regains his memories when it's already too late, and is integrated into Sora. He doesn't exist anymore, yeah maybe inside Sora woohoo should be happy with that. Not.

Roxas lived only for a year, and in the last days he was screwed over and put up against the only best friend he had. Roxas said he hates DiZ, and I can understand why. It was not a good deal. It was a big screwover.

Nobodies fade back into darkness, and if the Heartless who holds the heart of the Nobody dies, they can live again, I think. And even if being integrated into Sora is a better deal then fadeing into darkness, it doesn't make it a good deal. It's just less crappy.

But Roxas was a part of Sora to begin with, and wouldn't have existed in the first place had it not been for him and Roxas doesn't die as we plainly see him reunited with Naminé towards the end of the game. Sure, at the start it was pretty crappy being pitted against Axel and all that, but at least he got his happy ending :3

Agreed. At least he didn't fade away such as Saix, Luxord, Xemnas, Leaxasus, Zexion, Marluxia, Demyx, Xigbar etcetc. They'll eventually be forgotten, but Roxas won't as he'll keep living, in Sora, and sometimes gets flashbacks of Roxas.
