    Kay I downloaded reaper to edit a song for my my school talent show. I try rendering it as a MP3 and it won't do it saying it needs a lam file. I downloaded the file but I have no idea where to put it. Please help meh! I'm lost and I need to cd by tomorrow.... also need to study but I don't think that's happening anytime soon...

    It should tell you where to put it on the website where you downloaded it from.

    Then just put the lame_enc.dll into your ProgramFiles/Reaper folder. It should work.

    Did you save your project then restart Reaper?

    That happened to me too, but I do have the answer. =P

    Reaper itself show you a download link, and also ask you to download it to your computer in the folder where your Reaper was originally (the software) installed. Here's mine for a example;

    From the folder I installed Reaper, I simply downloaded it to that folder and TA-DA! I can now do MP3 songs format. c:
