ok, i know this picture looks, really ugly, or sloppy or stupid but just tell me what im doing wrong. Edit: i made another one, but its kinda lame, theres no picture, lol, so i guess you cant really say i made it, just added affects and changed colors, cropped it and stuff.
im not an expert, but i think that it is cool....!!! I like the sides of it with the swirling...huhu, dizzy....
I said that it looked nice, but if you gave Kairi some color instead of having her shaded and kinda smudged, it would look better...
I was on a school computer at the time so photobucket was blocked. Anywho.... onto the critique. First of all, R~M you really need to lighten up when you submit stuff. IMO I think art is meant to make you happy in a sense but all I am sensing from you is emo-ness. Okay, well I don't think this looks really nice. it's lacking depth, decent effects and flow. All it looks like it a picture of swirls with a headshot of Kairi pasted on top. Go to deviant art and get a tutorial and download GIMP. Try adding more colours because this looks really bland as B&W with pink. I can't really say anything else and the things I could say would make me feel guilty as hell. The number one things I suggest you to to improve is read some tutorials and download GIMP and possibly ask one of the more experienced artists in this section to help you out a bit.
*blarg* Ya this is pretty bad. Sorry I'm the only guy here who had the guts to say it. The one color scheme and background look pretty lame. Use some actual effects next time. Don't do the swirling unless it actually looks good with the stock.
yeah, you can use it, thank you for the advice on it everyone. Edit: yeah, it is bad. what color scheme would you suggest then? ok, ill try that. thank you.
Hahahaha....i never thought of i looking like cheese, ooc: mac and cheese, blue-cheese, Cheese-louise, Nacho cheese, etc.etc.
The only weird thing is that it looks like a picture frame. But if thats what you were aiming for its pretty good then.
1. Use a tutorial. Please. 2. It looks like you used Liquify on two images and then put that one on top. There's no flow at all. Once you learn some techniques blend the top image some so it's not a square on top of a messy canvas. 3. Stay on topic.
