So your country is smarter than ours?

    Sadly, I believe it. ._.

Most kids my age can't find our own country on a map or globe. ._.

That's pathetic... I could even locate my own town from a globe and my house from a map of Finland.

I'm not like most of America, just so you know.

The American public school system never saw me coming.

One of the students in my class thought Santa Monica was an island. It's just the local beach here in Southern Cali. -_-

I love how this thread went from questioning the virginity of every man to how American education sucks.

    Private K-1
    Home 2-3
    Private 4-6
    Home 7-8
    Public 9 - about to start 10.

Of course, if it had started with American education, it would've found a way to lead to talking about sex. That's the way of the spam zone.

My only problem with private schools is that they're too closed off from the world. And I hate uniforms.

And with that thought, I believe I shall head for bed.

My school is far from closed off. It's in the middle of the city and no school in Finland forces people to wear uniforms.

10th grade before any effort is made to tell you more than "The stick goes in the hole"? Sex-ed started in grades 7-8 for me, and I got a second dose in grade 10. I never thought it was possible to be bored of diagrams of genitals. Turns out that you can very easily.

A female is considered no longer a virgin when the hymen breaks due to sex, although the hymen can be busted prior to her having sex (full intercourse), especially with athletic or active women.

A man is considered no longer a virgin once he has full intercourse, whether with a condom or not. If he just 'sticks it in the hole' and does nothing else, I'd probably say since the whole act wasn't carried out, uh.. he's probably a half virgin. lol

That's probably the best way to think on it, although as we can tell by the explanations anywhere that it may be interpreted how people want to in the end.

I don't know anything about the public school system before 9th grade. They don't even mention sex in the Christian schools. They call it "the thing married people do." Most of what I know now I learned from my friends both online and at school.
