Chain of Memories Re-posted: Anyone else actually feel Sorry for Repliku?

i felt sorry for him in Sora's story........ i cried in reverse rebirth

 

in sora's story i felt sad but in riku's story......

i felt well kinda sad and well nothing really i mean he didnt have to kill riku just to become real u.u

 

To me, it's Riku's story that makes me feel sorry for Repliku. Especially the scene where they talk about giving him a new memory..

 

I did feel kind of bad for Repliku regardless if he was just a copy of the actual Riku or not. They played on his emotions throughout the Sora story and he wanted to keep a promise to Namine, which was the only grasp on a "reality" that he had...and when that promise turned out to be just as fake as he was, I definitely felt bad for him that his "life" was a big lie.

 

I am fairly new to Kingdom hearts, but I have played reverse re-birth. I feel really sorry for him, but if you watch either the credits or epilouge, you'll see that Axel starts hangin out with him, and that made me feel better.

Back that up.I like Repliku too, but I wouldn't say he was better than Riku.

 

I do feel sorry for him, he defiantly didn't deserve to die, I wouldn't say his better then the real Riku though.

 

It would've been really interesting to see Repliku turn into a real person (Pinocchio, ha). Someone different than Riku. Dye and change his hair, keep dark form or whatever. He would have made a great ally.

 

((I think Repliku didn't deserve any of the things that went down hill in Oblivion castle... PLUS you forgot one thing!!! >_< Axel told Repliku consuming Zexion would make him 'real' but he was lied too! So yeah =/ but I pity what happened to org XIII because all they wished for was a simple heart to be normal...))

His story was very depressing. He was given fake memories by Namine, Beaten up by Larxene, and Lied to by Axel. Plus he met a very depressing end. Is it just me or does the existence of Org. XIII just lead to tons of heartbreak? I mean Xion, Repliku, Sora, Roxas, Axel, Sora, Namine, and so many more.

 

yeah, I feel realy sorry for repliku, I wish I could give some inteligent debate, but I agree with you wholely on the idea that repliku had a crummy life.

 

I do. He never had a heart, and he never got to get one. He was just there. he wasn't even a Nobody. ;-;

 

No, no I do not. While, I admit, he got the short straw that doesn't mean I'll feel sorry for him. To be blunt, he was literally a tool to Org. XII, and nothing more. We don't even know if he survives CoM (Do we?). Plus, creating clones of pre-existing characters is the LAMEST plot twist ever. D:
