Name: Edward Elric
Description: Most often described as short with a very short temper about being called short. As a State Alchemist, code named: Fullmetal, he's devoted his research and time to finding the Philosopher's Stone and restoring his brother and himself back to normal. Besides being short, his most noticeable trait is having an automail left arm and right leg. To use Alchemy, Ed requires no transmutation circle, only to clap his hands together.

Name: Al "Alphonse" Elric
Description: Once a large suit of amor before his brother transmuted him back completely. Upon remembering the Truth, Al is able to do Alchemy like his brother without a transmutation circle. Al's unique Alchemy is his ability to transmute a portion of his soul into an empty vessel and control it like that. Al is most likely the more sensitive of the two and usually has a peaceful way to dissolve any situation.

So far...22. I'll advance eight episodes tonight. I read the manga back in high school...I stopped somewhere around....I think Ed was eaten and saw Envy's true form. (I still can't tell if Envy is a male or female....)

I believe...if I recall correctly, and correct me if I'm wrong. Doesn't Al learn how to do Alchemy just like Ed does? I remember him telling Ed and Edward got kinda depressed about it.
