Chain of Memories Re:CoM better than KH2?

No, but it's a fantastic game, none the less.

 

It's better than Kingdom Hearts II, but not Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+, that's the best one in my opinion. The voice actor's voices kind of ruins the game though :\​

 

Re:CoM was indeed good, however, I liked Kh2 far more, and I believe it is better, mainly from the reactions commands, and well, a lot of other things, but, Re:CoM was good, but not that good.

 

Kingdom. Hearts. Two. All. The. Way. i have beat both with perfect saves (in kh com on GBA and PS2, i collected 1 of every card of every number, premium versions too :P with no cheats), and i say i like KH2 better. but reverse/rebirth is pretty sweet, i really like...

I enjoyed KH2 more than CoM, though I have to say I am really having a good time playing RE:CoM. The only thing that to me gives CoM more of a chance is that Riku actually gets to be played and his story to me was more compelling than Sora's, which was just a revisiting of the past. Sora's story picks up later on as he encounters the Org more but still, I felt at points if you just replaced the word 'memories' with 'heart' you'd have KH1 all over again. Seeing Riku's side of the story and his struggle made the game more worth it but overall, I still think that KH2 was better.

I hope though when KH3 comes out, they take a hint from CoM and decide to put in more info on the 3 characters and not just Sora (and Roxas) so that we have options to move all 3 main characters through plots. BBS seems to have the option of playing the 3 main ones there, so I hope that in the end, KH3 also delivers the option so that we have more than one take on the storyline.

 

No. I'm very disappointed in Square-Enix/Disney for creating a remake. I wish it would've been for the GBA only. Creating a remake can take away some of the original's magic.

 

No way. KH2 is much better than Re:CoM in some critical ways. I'll list a few that I can think of.

1. Graphics
2. Story
3. Battle System

Those are three major ones for me.

 

No, I don't think so. For some reason the game felt short for me. It didn't have the complexity of story and characters that KH2 had. Plus, I'll take the KH2 battle system over the Card system any day.

I don't think it was better. I prefer KHII way before Chain of Memories. Way before.

 

KH2 is way better than Re:CoM

KH2 has the same amount of good voice actors as does Re:CoM(well, except Kairi and DiZ which is what really pissed me off since I wanted to hear Christopher Lee's voice! DX)
Another thing is that Re:CoM gets a little repetitive after a while because of the card system, rooms, worlds, etc.(except the bosses which are probably the only non-repetitive thing in the game)
KH2 is more original and is still fun even if you beat the game once.

I think Kingdom hearts II is much better than Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories. First of all, the voice actors are cool. Second, I don't like remakes of a golden game.

NO, I don't think it is. Battle system in KH2 is WIN. Battle system in Re: CoM is ANNOYING (At times), but it is also cool, and you get use to it. PLOT, like I freaking care. xD VOICES, don't care. All I care about is the battle system, and how hard the enemies/bosses are. B|

And KH Re: CoM could of had a secret room somewhere or something where you could fight Sephiroth, at least (Even though I still haven't defeated the final Marluxia, and Sephiroth would kill me >.>). D:

Yeah, I'd say it was. It provided more of a challenge and wasn't linear like KHII, which is what I missed from the original KH. Also just seeing the CoM Organization members fully voiced and getting to fight them in 3D was just pure awesome.

 

Some aspects, yes. I really didn't like the large chain of combos in KH2 where one can basically press X and kill everything. There were a larger variety of attacks in Re:CoM which is awesome. I think this makes a great and huge difference.

On the other hand, KH2 had a better story, cooler set of characters, better settings, better weapons, and harder boss battles...
