Forgot to say, but a friend of mine is thinking about doing some female voices, but she needs to get a mic first. I'll tell you if she wants to get in on this once she can get a mic.

Don't worry. This is the first time I ever auditioned for something like this, and she said I was pretty good. Just, you know, try your best.

God, now that I think about it, my first audition was absolutely dire... Sorry. I might redo the whole thing, again...

 

Well, technically speaking, the other site is strictly a voice acting community, so it is a lot more professional than here. Also, I didn't want to copy paste everything in here, because I wasn't sure if I was allowed to.

But regardless, I don't play favorites. You guys have just as much a chance as they do. I do have a lot of roles already casted in my head, but I'm not saying them, because it just isn't fair (and they aren't the ones anyone in here auditioned for, if memory serves). EDIT: I was in a hurry when I wrote this and I just realized it sounds kind of mean. What I meant was, you still have a good chance at getting the part(s) you want, because no one has swooped in and taken them.

And sometimes people do audition for a lot of roles... it's a habit most VAA users have (I too have the habit of auditioning for anyone and everyone I think I can do). It doesn't mean they were all amazing. It just means they have a higher chance of landing a minor role.

Marluxia: I got your auditions, but I have to leave, so I'll listen to them later and mail you back with critiques!

but how do you exactly plan on making this look as proffesional as possible?

just wondering, cause of the diffrence in microphones, and that in a coversation beetween characters , it would sound differently.

 

I have a lot of experiance in mixing. I can edit everything to where it sounds fine together... unless you have a really bad mic. I can't cast someone with a crappy mic, no matter how good they may be, unless they get a nicer one.

if I get a mic I'd definately try out for Goofy. Maybe Jack Skellington and Alladin too (Do they even have lines?).

Yeah, Jack and Aladdin have lines~! This is a full game dub, not just the cutscenes between each floor.

actually, that would be interesting, i would try donald, but i cant quite pronouce words when im doing the squeak voice thing, i can only say "sora"
