The one detail that made me the most sad inside is the fact that once something is read, it becomes fixed. Combine that with these Angels being like the ones from Blink that break the Fourth Wall and the fact that Think about that for a moment.

The biggest thing for me was That was just heart-wrenching for me. The bit about reading something and it becoming fixed is just so terrible too.

And I still didn't cry. But if this episode was the first one to even make me choke up, I'd hate to see the one that finally brings me to tears.

Same here, though I did tear up at the realization that I detailed in my previous post. THIS IS WHY THE FOURTH WALL MUST REMAIN INTACT.

Didn't cry. Mostly was moved by it but not to the point of ugly sobbing, screaming "THE POOOOONDS, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, MY BABIES ARE DEEEEAD, I'M GUNNA DIE." Like most of the fandom were.

Wait, what do you mean by "Fourth wall"?

I didn't get to watch it live ;-; I was gutted. I was travelling back from Birghton (destined to be home at 5:15) but got stuck in traffic on the stupid M25! So I ended up getting home at 10:00 and had to pry the TV from my Dad >:3

I cried and I didn't even notice I was doing so until the episode finished. I wasn't balling, my eyes were just wet though- I don't cry that much at TV... normally.

I was honestly convinced the Ponds were going to die by jumping off the building so when I saw them alive and well it almost seemed too good to be true- like it was the Doctor's dream. I was very confused so when the Angel zapped Rory back I was just like NUUUUUUU!

Still, I think it was a perfect ending for them but what I don't understand is what is stopping the Doctor returning to see them much later than 1938? He can go to New York 2012 without ripping it apart so when can he go there without ripping it apart?

Also, Amy and Rory are the same age- so when did Amy become 5 years older on the gravestone?

The Fourth Wall is the imaginary wall between the show's world and the "real" world. You know how the Angels from Blink froze when nobody but you was looking at them? That happened because the Angels break the Fourth Wall. In other words, The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You. Unfortunately, that ability was nerfed in Time of Angels, but they brought it back in this episode, which made me question what else might break the Fourth Wall. The first thing that occurred to me was events becoming set in stone as soon as you find out about them. In short,

On the bright side, there's bound to be someone who was watching alone and happened to be away from the screen both times appeared.

Yeah, but how many people had their eyes glued to the screen? No matter how many people looked away (which is ironic, because Angels), at least four times as many people made it happen.
And if fourth wall breaking is commencing, then THE DOCTOR IS COMING! <3

I don't think you understand. That means that there is a version of the episode where it didn't happen. Sure, it's not the true ending, but it is a good ending.

Ah, I see. That's actually really comforting.

But my personal treat was seeing that That's been a theory since Blink, and to see Moffat play around with fan-canons is just ridiculously satisfying.
