Ragnarok

"Yes, such irony..." He whispered, the black cloak fluttering silently. The Halo shined its eerie light, making the entire wood seem darker and more ominous. There was a giant wall of vines shutting in the exit. "A problem..."

 

ooc: Recap?

 

Ooc: You didn't miss much. We're just leaving the woods and ended up being trapped by these mysterious vines.

 

ooc: so then I should be trapped to, right? My guy did agree to follow, but not fight after all.

Are they natural or are they caused by something evil?

 

Ooc: Yea. We're all trapped.

"It seems they're... Alive," He whispered, putting an ominous emphasis on "alive". With his ancient eyes, Sessamaru saw the vines pulse. "Be careful..." He told Cina as he moved forward, drawing Shadowbane. He swung the blade once, and ran, a windblade cutting the vines. He slid through as the vines regenerated. He stood outside. " Start running!" He shouted, leaping back as he prepared another swing. Due to his high speed, he was capable of running through before the instantaneous regeneration.

 

Cina knew what to do, as he slumped low to the ground and began running through the destroyed vines as he grew, putting his leather arm out forward, so any remaining ones that attempted to wrap around would slip off. Due to the demon heritage in him which was unknown to the others, his speed was increased as well, though not as fast as Sessamaru's

 

Sessamaru swung the shamshir, sending a high velocity windblade through, cutting the sentient vines into smaller chunks. The pathway was opened for Cina for only a few seconds. So, he continued with great care and velocity, to send more and more windblades through the veil of life-eating vines.

 

Cina quickly took an oppertunity in an area with no vines remaining, and then lunged forth, through the vines with his leathered arm infront of him, lunging straight through the bunch, which was much faster then simple running

 

Aveum was now surrounded by vines and they started wrapping him completly, and now the vines had covered him completly.

 

As he saw Cina emerge from the vines, but Aveum caught, Sessamaru desperately lunged inside, performing a spin with outstretched blades, cutting down the vines. Windblades severed the vines, but only for a few moments. Moments Aveum desperately needed. "Run!" He shouted to Aveum, already growing weary. He hacked a cough or two, blood dribbling down his lips, but he continued nonetheless, breaking his own body to save a life of another...

 

Aveum, saw him , he saw the blood,

"i cant leave him" he said as he ran from the vines looking back

Aveum ran toward where sessamaru lay, and tried to help him

"star of lumia" he said as he touched the ground and a burst of white celestial energy opened a path for them to escape, he helped sessamaru

"Lets go, "he said as he supported sessamaru, so he didnt fall.

 

With a dubious look, Sessamaru walked with Aveum towards the exit, his eyes glowly dimly under the cowl, the tall collar hiding his bloodied lips. "Thank you, friend..." He rasped, obviously exhausted.

 

"sessamaru please hang on" Aveum said in a calm but worried tone

he saw the others looking at them as he took sessamaru out , and placed his head lightly on his legs

"are you ok" now a bit of blood fell in Aveum's beautiful white robe

 

"Exhausted, that I am..." He whispered, his aching body fragile. He pointed to his bag on the farther side. "Find a vial of bioluminescent green liquid... Please..." He added.

 

"he took out the vial with the green liquid"

"drink.." he said as he placed the vial close to his mouth

 

Greatfully, he drank the sweet smelling liquor. At first, nothing happened. Then, his breathing calmed, his dim eyes glared with a vibrant green light. His muscles regained strength. He got up gently, wavering with exhaustion. He threw out his hands , two swords appearing in each hand. With a few parlor tricks, he slammed the blades into their rightful scabbards, leaning against the trees. "This one is only mortal. He must sleep, as do you..." He pointedly told them all, his breathing much more easier and his hacking cough gone, as were his wounds.

 

OOC:Aveum is not human....XDD

BIC: "yes, we need rest, it would be wise to regain our energy" Aveum did not need rest, but he liked to rest.

 

Ooc: All things are mortal, my friend :P
With that done and through, Sessamaru led the way to the village which was yonder the black hills.

 

OOC:i didnt say inmortal, i said "not human" XD

Aveum started following, his expensive and beautifull robe was stained, he really didnt mind
