Aveum started looking at him

"well, lets just say you passed the test" Aveum said smiling as he placed an arm in Blade's shoulder

"we would like to hire you" Aveum said in a calm tone

 

"for what" Blade asked

 

Ooc: The comet is falling from the sky, and will hit the planet in 3 days. A halo of clouds act as a doorway. Uramasses is an ancient hermit who meets his old friend Aveum and together they went to a tavern. Once there, Uramasses told Aveum about the history and about what is to come. They're searching for party members to stop this calamity once it appears. They're getting Blade to be a new recruit. Sessamaru is still not known about or even there.

The old beggar tried to get up, but his hunch was too much like a tortoise shell. He had trouble. "Dagnabit! No one is getting hired until this one is back on his feet!" He cried, spinning in circles with each attempt to get up.

 

Aveum covered his mouth as a slight laugh came out

"do you mind getting him up? , ill explain in a moment"

 

Blade nodded and helped Uramasses up

Well then, I'll still have to wait on it until I enter my charecter. I want the right oppertunity to be open

 

Uramasses sighed and shook his head. "We need you, mercenary of twilight, to help our cause to stop a Daenon, or Dark God, before he enslaves the world. We may need your aegis and swordplay. Or else... This world will fall under that one's flaming fist..." With a nonchalant shrug, the old beggar, blind as he was, walked away casually, only to trip over his beard and robes. He let out a mournful sigh as he picked himself up. "Damn hunch, feels like twenty tons!" He ranted.

 

Blade thought for a tiny bit but came to a conclusion "I'm in" Blade said

 

The mysterious beggar jumped in glee, clapping his heels together, only to succumb again to his ancient age. Raising a robed arm, he gave a cheesy thumbs up. "That's great!"

 

"Good "Aveum said as he started eyeing Blade as if inspecting him

"where to , Uramassess?" Aveum said smiling

 

"Shadowmoon Wood. There is a High Elven Shrine that this one needs to inspect..." He explained vaguely, using the sakobatou for support. As he stood perfectly tall, he began to lead the way.

 

Aveum looked at blade ,smiled , and started following Uramassess

"this cant be good"he said smiling as he sighed

 

Uramasses began the expedition, his long white mane dancing about, around his tortoise shell-like hunch. The sakobatou lead the blind one's way, keeping him from falling into a hole. He snickered, feeling the earth speak to him, the wind whispering their multitudes of secrets into his ears. "We shall be there when night has fallen," he spoke gently, his rasping voice as soft as velvet.

 

Aveum was looking around, and started humming a song as he smiled

 

The comet was somewhat closer, the huge halo of clouds were ominous, obscuring the mind with chaos.

Chaos... What bitter irony... thought the blind beggar, his mind creating an image of the halo of clouds. He could once see, he was once young, adventurous, and a great swordsman. The best swordsman in all the planes! But now, he was old, with an ancient secret that will soon leak out... A secret that would soon shock the world. "The shadows..." he whispered, keeping his ears open for any degree of danger. The sakobatou's scabbard shimmered a pale pink.

 

Aveum , started looking at the old man, his face was now cold,

Aveum , now, looked at his hand

ooc: pm me when you guys get there, ok sess. That'll be the perfect spot for my charecter to start off

 

Dusk fell, and ahead of them was an arch opening of trees to the wood. "It is here... Shadowmoon Wood..." Whispered the old man. He led his companions into the wood, towards an ancient, beautiful shrine. It seemed untouched, but ruin surrounded it in an obscure circle, giving a foreboding aura. "The shrine that holds ancient secrets..."

 

Cina looked up to see the new comers approaching as the gates opened. "Hmph. And here I thought that things would be a little quieter around here. Guess I was mistaken" he muttered, as he looked down to the ground. He was nealing, planting what had appeared to be a oddly shaped seed.
