Radiohead's new CD~

Ok so who else is excited about In Rainbows?!
Better not be another Kid A type ._.
I'm hoping for OK Computer : D
They are revolutionizing the way CDs will be sold. Seriously, this whole idea of skipping the record company is ingenious. See their contract ran out so they decided, 'hey why even bother with a record label at all!?'

You pay what you want to for the CD. Yes that means the possibility of downloading it for free off of their official website. But please, give them something for it...they really deserve it.

It comes out on the 10th. Discs will be available in December.

 

Radiohead are gods. I'm also hoping for an OK Computer type of deal. :3

I'm going to pay 20$ out of respect, like you said, they deserve it.

 

I think its smart how theyre selling thier cd. Then they dont have to give the record companies anything. I'll give them $15, same price you'd pay in the store.

 

Same! Like I'd so much rather give it to THEM than have them split it with a record company :|

It is really smart. They're cutting out an unessicary middleman in the deal and they will hopefully have great profits as a result.

 

What are you talking about, Kid A was a great CD. Not better than Ok Computer yea, but still I wouldn't mind Kid A at all. Pablo Honey was a wierd one.

 

I have never heard much of Radiohead, nor have I liked much of what I've heard, but I have to say, that way of selling their CD is great. Just ingenious.

 

WHAT? Dude...Kid A had one good song, as in their most memorable song. Admittedly um, Amnesiac had no good songs so ;_;

Pablo Honey is okay but apparently that is the one the critics liked the best which leaves me kinda- eh??

In Rainbows is amazing.
15 Step is the best...but other songs are great too. I also liked Videotape.

 

I think my favorite on In Rainbows is 'Nude' or 'Reckoner'. Awesome album overall.

 

Meh I don't really like them...
