Ash had crossed his legs under him and closed his eyes. Listening to the rumble of the train before drifting off to sleep. His head hung forward, chin touching his chest as he silently slept. His fingers were laced tightly in his lap, tight enough that his knuckles were white. Trains gave him motion sickness, despite that everything else didn't. Trains...why is it only trains... he thought before his consiousness went blank and he fell asleep. His breathing slowed to the slight rise and fall of his chest every few minutes.

 

Kegan smiled as she watched her parner sleep, he looked so cute and peaceful, still she knew she'd have to wake him up though feeling a little guilty about having to disturb him. She leant over and shook him gently, "Ash, Ash, we're here. You've got to get up" She said, hoping it wouldn't take much more than that to get him up. She been asleep earlier on the train but she'd been awake for over an hour, just enjoying the scenery, it was quite different to back at the academy. She gathered both of their luggage together as she waited for Ash to come round.

 

OOC: Kinda difficult to post..i mean that fight was over without Stanley even fighting in it. Anyway,i'll continue from that timeskip
IC: Stanley grabbed his blade. He travelled rather lightly,needing nothing except the bare essentials: A change of clothes, some food,some water,and his blade. He exited the train,shouting behind him "Hey Tesori,we're here".

 

Tesori quickly awoke from his peaceful slumber as he heard Stanley shout. He yawned and stretched. He was about to exit the train when he saw that Stanley had bags. Then he remembered his own bags...well, bag. Tesori turned around and grabbed his bag from the overhead storage unit. Like Stanley, he travelled very lightly. He only brought a change of clothes. If Stanley wouldn't provide for him (such as giving him food and water; which he hoped for), he would just hunt with his bow; just the way he liked it. He had never liked hunting in "his past life" (as he called it) but as he trained, he grew on it, especially because he had the perfect hunting weapon at his disposale. Tesori shook the thoughts that were crowding his head away and exited the train. He walked up to Stanley and asked with a very dim smile, "Are you ready to take on New Haven Stanley?"

ooc - When I said such I meant that no other Reaper or being can use their weapon, but the Scythe themself may use their own weapon. I mentioned it again during the exam. The first person to touch the weapon, other than the scythe, is then the only one who can wield it. It's not unheard, but unlikely, that some Masters or others can wield a Scythe's weapon if they have the right 'energy' to do so, but that is for much later. So your post is fine. And I think only Master and terra need to vote/post and then we're good to go.

 

"We're here!Yes,thank God!Why'd we go on a train?"He looked at his partner."Oh well,at least were off of that back killer. He said raising his arms up to stretch.

 

"Finally. Now we can get off that uncomfortable train." Ren said stretching. He wasn't able to sleep on the train like he had hoped, so he spent the whole ride trying to fall asleep.

 

Rin smiled weakly. She couldn't agree with him since she had quite enjoyed the ride and would not lie so she merely stayed silent for the time being.

Kira peered over Roxy's shoulder as she was reading something. "Right there." She pointed at the paper and was then thanked by Roxy who then put the paper away. Kira turned to the students as all of them were off of the train now. "We shall be showing you the way to the Safe House, but after that you have the rest of the day for yourselves. You may either stay there and relax or look around the city. The choice is yours." She turned and joined Roxy as the two exited the station.

Upon exiting they found themselves in the bustling city; oh how much quieter the inside was. Luckily for them the Safe House was only a few blocks away, tucked nicely in a quieter part of the city, for the Reaper's sake. Roxy stopped and held out one arm to present the house to them. "Welcome to your new home. The rooms are bare and are being given away on a first come first serve basis so may as well rush in there and claim one. You can also decorate it in whatever way you wish. My only two rules, for the time being, are that you make no messes outside of your own room and keep it quiet when it gets late. Otherwise, you're old enough to do as you please so long as you're here when I am ready to appoint missions." How sad...they grew up so fast. Well, least she did all she could to get one of the best houses in the open area for Reapers.

Kegan grinned at Ash, she was enjoying the change of scenery and this place looked great, "Awesome!" She exclaimed, "Let's get our rooms before all the good ones are taken" She said before rushing forward into the house, she liked the new place as much for the change than anything. She ran up two flights of stairs barely stopping to take a breath. She ran between the rooms, looking in each one before finding one she really liked. It was decent sized had big windows looking out onto the front and a balcony. It was a bit bare but with a bit of decoration, it would do her just fine.

 

"Wow," Zero said with an uninterested look in his eyes. He just stared at the house while holding all of his stuff in his hands. All he really had was a book to read and extra clothes he kept in a bag since he figured there wouldn't be a need for anything else. His stomach growled, causing him to scratch it, And I'm hungry, well... first I'm sleepy, now I'm hungry. He started to drool a little bit thinking about food he could eat.

 

Ash opened his eyes and took a moment to gather where they were. Hearing his partner's voice he blindly followed her. He took one glance around their room and shrugged. Ash, still half-alseep, walked out onto the balcony and let the wind wake him up further. He curiously glanced down from the balcony and wondered how much it'd hurt if he fell from here. His slight curiosity died as he reasoned, Quite a bit, I suppose. He turned to Kegan, a single thought running through his head, "Are we going to explore the town?" They were the first words he'd spoken since he sat down on the train.

 

"I'm ready for anything,Tesori" Stanley said. Once he knew it was alright to go into the house, Stanley ran inside,eager to claim a room that suited his tastes.

 

Rhea let out a low whistle as she perked an eyebrow, amazed at the building before her and the others. "Nice place," she muttered, shifting the bag that hung from her shoulder slightly, looking around to see others have already gone in and looked for a room. "We should look for a nice one, Ruth." Turning to look towards her partner, Rhea caught a glance towards Ivan, the one she had fought for the Rite's Exam. She cocked her head slightly and raised an eyebrow, noticing him whisper something to his partner. She kept her gaze focused on him before hearing Ruth's monotone voice echo in her ears. "Huh?" Her eyes fluttered, breaking her stare from the young man, setting her eyes on Ruth.

"Lets go," Ruth said, taking a few steps forward. "We need to look for a room." She shook her head, hearing Rhea's footsteps barely begin to trail behind her, not even noticing her sudden daze.

 

"Yeah, apparenly we've got the rest of the day to ourselves, so we can either stay and relax or go out and explore. Your choice." Kegan answered as she followed him out onto the balcony, glad to see a little life in him again. She looked out over the veiw, with a satisfied look on her face, as she awaited Ash's descision. She'd prefer to go out explore but she wanted to get to know Ash and she'd happily stay if he wanted.

 

Ash swung his legs over the railing and sat on it, staring at the sky. "I...it'd be wise to stay inside for a while. Being outside in the sun raises your risk of cancer." He didn't know where the information kept coming from, but he didn't know what his own opinion of the matter was. Going, staying, they seemed the same to him. Everyday, his choices were made for him by Magic and now....he was going to have to choose. He settled for an option in between and slid his pale eyes over to Kegan. Gauging her reaction.

 

"Oh. Okay then. But you need sunlight to produce vitamin D which you need for healthy bones and to maintain immunity." Kegan replied, countering him with an equally random fact that she wasn't sure quite how she knew. "Seems like you can't win either way, doesn't it? Still if you want to stay in, that's fine" She was slightly disappointed but she was determined not to show it. He seemed to be letting facts decide his descisions, instead of doing what he wanted and for him everything seemed to need justifacation.

 

Tesori chuckled at Stanley's enthusiasum. He wanted to run in like Stanley did, but he had a terrible and foolish run. So he decided to walk calmly into the house and look for the room Stanley had picked out. 'I hope it has a window,' Tesori thought. He peered into several rooms (which he thought were very lovely) but couldn't find the room Stanley picked out for them. "Stanley!" he called.

 

Rin tightened the strap to her black messenger bag before walking into the house. She came across a room on the second floor that seemed to be neat with a good view and decided that it was logically a good choice. To claim it she removed her bag and placed it on the bed before turning to look around. They were allowed to leave but what was there to see? All they needed to know was what they will need for mission.

Roxy folded her arms when Ivan spoke to her. "Would that be needed?" She asked with a raised eyebrow but then sighed. "Sadly, I have no idea. Royal is sending someone to tell me it tomorrow. After that I am allowed to make some missions of mine own." She yawned slightly before going inside with Kira. She then whispered something to her partner that no one else could hear. "If it's not too much trouble, would you watch that guy for me? I hear he's always causing trouble by going to the arena."
