Ash ignored everyone as he slipped through the crowd toward the edge to see better. His eyes riveted to the contestants. Games....so it must be a fight. I wonder what their stratagies are. his mind calculated several possibilities as he watched. Feeling people brush against him, he recoiled and shivered. Human or non-human contact bothered him slightly. With all them around, it bothered him greatly.

 

Rin decided that she would just walk down towards where she thought she had seen a food place, thinking that if someone didn't do something soon they would stand there for hours just thinking about where to go. And then they'd be dead from starvation before their first mission even started. When she reached the sidewalk she headed south, towards the train station where they came from, and soon exited the nice quiet neighborhood and found herself in a louder, busier part of the town. It was only a few feet too, yet such a major difference.

BIC: Not far away from where Rin and the others were, Allianna walked into a bar. Completely normal except for the fact that if you didn't look closely, for all intents and purposes, Allianna looked like a six year old girl. She walked confidently into the building, most of the people didn't even look up, a few people watched her but they showed no reaction. She strode up to the bar, which she couldn't even see over and up to the bar stool that was bigger than her. Even the people who watched her couldn't quite say how she did it, but she was almost instantly up on the bar stool. "Usual please" She told the bar man, who smiled at her and began to pour her usual alcoholic drink, seemingly oblivious to how old she appeared.

 

Rin had watched the girl walk into the bar and was taken back by surprise. She then looked back to the others while pointing towards the bar. "While I still do not know much about the outside world, I thought no one that young could go into such a place?"

"They could've changed the age limit." "Then again probadly not." Ren thought seeing the girl head into the bar. "I agree with Aiden, plus I'm curious about what the inside looks like."

 

Ash was having troubles keeping to himself as he was jostled around by a larger man who was clearly upset over the outcome of the match. The man grabbed Ash's collar and tossed him into another odd looking creature holding a mug that spilt it's contents onto Ash's clothes. It didn't smell like ale and he gagged a bit. This new creature he'd been thrown into had three fingers and one eye. Ash couldn't precieve how it would know it had gotten itself some sort of manuer instead of ale to drink. Though his temper was bubbling over. Ash could see the rising hand of the creature and felt warmth in his fingers. Snapping his fingers, Ash drew a line of fire in between him and the one-eyed creature. "I'd prefer if you didn't touch me. As you've already soiled my clothing. This sort of thing just makes me mad." Though he didn't know what anger felt like....he knew logically he should be angry and by his means, that meant burning something.

 

"Ash!" Kegean was automatically by his side with a hand on his shoulder, supporting and trying to calm him. "Relax, he's not worth it" She told Ash before looking up at the creature. Suprisingly, she wasn't that bothered by the creature though it did intrigue her, she was more annoyed at the man who had thrown her friend. "If I were you, I'd leave it and get out of his sight." She said calmly to them all.

 

The creature backed up a bit from them and growled, "HE SPILT MA DRINK. YOU OWE ME SLUG-JUICE." Ash frowned and put two and two together and gagged again. His fire died and his logic kept him from re-lighting it. Ash shut his eyes painfully. "I don't owe you a thing. In fact, that man owes you your drink." he guestured toward the more calmly fuming large man. The large one-eyed creature hurtled toward him and punched him. Ash would've thought it funny if he had any emotions and if the stench hadn't been overpowering his nose.

 

Ash growled at Ivan, "Is that a bad thing? Those matches don't seem very difficult." His pale eyes glared into Ivan's and he held his gaze. Ash's mind thought out several patterns of fate if he were in the fights. He'd either be pummled to death or cut up, or worse....dead. Or he could win like the champ he was.

 

Rin nodded and heading into the bar, looking around once inside. Some people gave her some looks, for being new and all, but besides that she wasn't paid any mind.

The air was slightly coated with smoke and heavily so with the smell of alcohol. Besides her nose twitching once or twice at the new scents, Rin was mostly fine with the place.

She stopped near the door, looking over her shoulder for the others.

 

Allianna heard the door open and some more people come in but didn't bother to turn around. She happily took her drink (alchoholic of course) and began drinking, taking a break for once from the harsh world outside, and determined nothing was going to ruin his for her.

 

Ash turned on his heel, away from Ivan and Kegan and headed for the door. By smell alone he found his way around, following the stench of sweat and blood, he found his way to the area where the fighters prepared for their next battle. "Is this a private party...or can anyone join?" though his pale eyes were dull, they still gleamed with determination a bit. But black outfit untouched by dirt or blood and his white hair unruffled or matted by sweat and blood. "I wish to enter and fight..." his words were absolute.

 

Kegean frowned as Ash moved away and quickly followed him, reaching him just in time to hear him say he wanted to enter. She shook her head, this wasn't good. "Are you sure that's a good idea? Some of the people here are dangerous, are you certain about this?" She asked but in all honestly, she didn't expect he'd change his mind. "But if you have to do this, then I'm doing it with you. We're a team now and I'm not planning on letting you doing this alone." Her common sense was screaming at her and she knew she'd probably regret this but she couldn't allow him to go in this alone.

 

So, now what? Ren thought walking in the bar. He took a look around the bar, most of the people were either drinking or smoking. Odds are that they don't want to be bothered.

 

Ash glanced at Kegan. "I'm sure. I should do this alone Kegan. I wouldn't want you to get hurt. You are not prepared for intense battles like this. I am." he turned on his heel to look at her and sighed, "I have the inkling that you're not going to leave me be are you? So be it then." he didn't wait for her response.
