can anybody lmk why my roommate has the thermostat in our dorm literally at the lowest setting??? i am literally shaking whenever i leave my bed i'm so salty about this
when i lived in the dorms we had no control over the thermostat lol, maybe the system is just perma-chilly? no harm in just asking her if you could turn it up a bit imo
Erm ... where do you live ? Oh, wait, got it. Otawa. It' s still full on summer where I live. My room is a freaking oven around 4pm, if I put a shirt on it gets all wet in five minutes tops. That being said, if your temperature sensitivity have such a wide gap, it would probably make more sense for you to put more clothes on than to expect your roommate to walk around nude as a worm. Or peel his flesh. It' s also cheaper by the way. Not sure whether you' re the one receiving the bills or not, but you will someday.
Keeping it at the lowest setting is the best. Then you never have to worry about any sweating and heat strokes. Give your roommate two thumbs up for me
We don't have your fancy-shmancy air conditioning here in England. We just accept death when it gets hot or cold.
Most people are reasonable. If you ask your roommate "are you hot?" Then tell them you're freezing and wouldn't mind it being warmer if they didn't mind.
some people like the cold. my room is hot no matter what; i had to wait for winter so it can feel cold.
