358/2 Days Question

Hey Guy's Good After Noon!


I Really Want To Get Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Day's Cause I Love the Series And I Have every other KH Game, Tho My Question Is.. Do You Think It's Worth Getting A DS just To Have This Game? Would YOU Go Out And Buy A DS Just for this game?! ( that Is If U Don't Have A DS Already ). Thx You Guy's! Have A Great Weekend!

By the time the game was announced my DS was broken so for my birthdy i got a Dsi mainly for the kingdom hearts game but i also had lots of other ds games too so my reason for getting one was for all the game i had

but if i had to buy a dsi/ds for kh then i certainly would the game has been awsome so far on the emulator and i cant even see the heartless on my emulator :D

and by the time you get kh if you have 358/2 you will already have a few number of games as there quite cheap :D (specially in america)

i got a 4gb memory card just for bbs and il be going to japan to get coded if its not released in england

 

I would get a DS just for 358/2 Days. I got a PSP just for Birth By Sleep... But anyway, you don't even have to get the new DSi, you could always get a used DS lite. And, hey! You may even find more games on the DS to love (such as The World Ends With You)!

 

I would. But a more pressing question is 'Would you buy a PS3 just for KH3?'

Well, they're not 100% certain if they're even going to make a KH3, although I hope they do even if it's not going to be on the PS2. I can't really blame them, though. Not only is Square Enix busy with Kingdom Hearts, but they have their hands full with Final Fantasy too, which FF fans are being just as demanding for new games as KH fans are, which some kind of welded together into being both FF fans and KH fans, but that's not the point. Square Enix is in charge of 2 huge-hit game series and both series are time-consuming in making new story lines, character designs, settings, the actual making the game, etc. That's a lot on their plates and the fans are being extremely demanding, which just adds more weight. I doubt there is going to be a KH3 since Sora pretty much has his "happily ever after" so there's basically nothing left. Unless they made it where it's another group of people, another person who gets a Keyblade and then has to fight the Heartless... but then it would just become like Final Fantasy in making games for ever and ever and ever and ever and ever....

I love 358/2, the graphics SUCK but i'd say it's cause they had to save room for teh SUPAR HAI QUALITY movies throughout the game. :/ poor DS is probably leik , NO MOAR PLZZZZ!!!!one-eleven!!!onE!!!!

Use an emulator.

Less hassle about having to patch it, plus it might run smoother.

Well, I bought a DS pretty much to be able to play this game since I'm not a Nintendo fanboy by any means really. Was it worth it?

The graphics are really great to me. I have to say it's one of the better graphic games I've seen for the DS. Sometimes when I do fast actions the screen gets dark, but otherwise the graphics have been pretty decent. They are at or above KH1 standards, but not quite on par with KH2's, though close.

The story to me is alright. You get some tidbits on the Organization and the story mainly revolves around Roxas and Xion, with Axel tossed in. You don't get as much on the other Org members as I might have wanted but the story is not bad. The tale does come out slowly though and the missions can seem kind of redundant and drag on to me. It's repetitive in story mode but as you progress passed quite a few 'days' things pick up.

I think the coolest thing about the game is the Mission Mode itself which allows you to be able to play missions as the Org members and also as other characters in the KH series such as Sora, Riku and King Mickey. You can also do missions with other people and so it can be a lot of fun.

Was it worth it? I won't say it's the greatest game out there because to me it's just a bit above 'okay' but if I did not play it, I'd feel like I missed out on part of the KH story so it was worth it to me. Now I just have to debate whether I will keep the DS or give it to someone else as a gift since there are only about 2 or 3 other games I may ever play on this thing. xD

 

If you don't have a DS, get a DSi. They have a few new features for about the same price anyhow. If you want a game that ties in the game storyline, go ahead and get it. If you don't really care, just want a new game, I woudl get a game that goes with whatever system you already have.

 

I dunno if itd be worth all the money of getting a DS just to get that ONE GAME, even if it is a truly badass game. Do you own a PSP? If so then you can still get birth by sleep. I only have a DS and am content with just having 358/2 days, so if you own a psp already you'll probably be content with bbs because it looks AWESOME. And besides, theyre not selling the original DS any more... which is probably the most durable model... so yeah not worth buying a DS over if you ask me.
