Okay not sure if this has already been mentioned but...

When Sora stabs himself through with the Keyblade, his nobody, Roxas, is born (or whatever you call it when a nobody comes into existance) So how is it that thoughout the rest of KH1 after Kairi saves him, he remains in his origional appearance, would that not make Roxas nonexistant since Sora was whole again? Or is it that thoughout the rest of the game Sora was mearly a heartless retaining his previous form? I wonder about Namine too, Kairi lost her heart (Sora had it so that made her a special nobody) Although she got it back didn't she? So Namine shouldn't exist, neither should Roxas unless Sora was a heartless till then.

I know there are alot of unexplained things in the KH series, some things where just overlooked and others may have an explanation in later games, but I wanted to point this out and see who else has noticed this.

Yeah, I noticed. It leads me to believe that Nobodies aren't the actual body of the person who lost their heart. Because then they would all look like zombies. :P

Interesting idea....then I wonder what they really are...hmmm....

I'm not sure they would be all that much like zombies though...

Well, I somewhat explained my take on that before, but I'll do so here too.

When a Heartless is formed, the person loses both the body and the soul/mind. However, the body is a 'physical' thing, so when Kairi returned Sora back to normal, because he had some of his memories still, though he said they were beginning to fade...she pulled on his heart and those and her connection to him with her powers of Light and he was reformed.

A Nobody, I believe...for the most part is created from the Soul/Mind and its memories of what it formerly looked like. The body is composed of Darkness, the memories of the former resemblance, and an element of nature. This keeps the form more 'twilight' instead of just a being of Darkness. It also let the ones with formerly powerful Hearts be higher Nobodies, while those who were weaker, could not be how they formerly were and were just like roaming ghosts with forms that weren't their former ones at all.

That's pretty well how I come to explain why Roxas was as he is, and all of the other Nobodies were as they were, that were higher ones. Roxas didn't remember who he was from since Sora's Heartless kept most of the memories and Kairi changed him back to a hearted being. However, Sora's heart is very strong so Roxas looked like Sora any way and he was considered a complete Nobody.

Namine on the other hand, even DiZ points out that she was barely even a Nobody because Kairi never lost her -real- body, and she never turned to Darkness. Instead, her Heart was held in Sora. It is not ever totally answered when Namine becomes in existence...either at the time Kairi gives Sora her heart, or later when Sora uses the Dark Keyblade. I tend to think it's when he used the Dark Keyblade since that might kick off such a thing to happen, and also explain why Namine could use Darkness portals etc as the others did. Also, Kairi's heart is very powerful, so her mind/soul could make the necessary body for her, despite the conditions being awkward, and Kairi after the point, was also returned to her own body.

Any way, that's my theory on it as I could figure it out. Hope that helps.

Meh? I didn't think THAT'S how Roxas was born. But what I thought Sora was doing that for was to save Kairi by releasing the Seven Hearts of the Princesses of Light, including Kairi's, I didn't think it anyway else.

He was, he didn't even know about nobodys back then. He only did it for Kairi but in the process he lost his heart to free her's, and according to Kingdom Hearts, since he had a strong heart/will/whatever he gained a nobody (Roxas)

And yet he somehow came back to life withOUT Roxas. That's not inherently possible. You could come back to life if your Nobody was KILLED, but you just... what?!

That's what this thread is about, HOW exactly did he come back without Roxas?

Hmm...No, if your nobody was killed....I don't think you would be able to come back. I think when a nobody dies they are just lost to the darkness, they become nonexistant.
