Well you see it was because of Dr. Ruth. She taught the pirates everything she knew, so her ah-mazing wisdom about intercourse transfered over to them. Plus she was the exact right size to interview a penis so in turn when you can see the world in something else's view you gain vast knowledge about it.

And there is the point that Shrek was just too lonely and too big of a pansy and could not take the beating like a man from Cameron Diaz. She beat his ass like there was no tomorrow. Fed up with all the spouse abuse Shrek ran away to a little city called Belair where he searched for the best surgeon in town. When he found the perfect surgeon he scheduled his sex-change surgery right away. Soon after that and his speedy recovering he ran into a group of rebels that called themselves the pirates. Now Shrek being the flower picking ghey-arse he/she is could not resist their bad-boy stature.

During their first-date the pirates took Shrek to a fancy restaurant and filled him up to the brim with expensive wine. Once in an impaired state of mind they whisked Shrek back to their apartment and their way with him/her. Then a month and several dates later Shrek discovered the news he/she was pregnant. Yes, it was one doodle that could not be un-done, but Shrek was happy because he/she was truely in love with the pirates and they are off to live happily ever after. :D
