Question about Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade

    All right, so Windows 7 is going to be one of my presents.

    We're getting the upgrade package so we can just upgrade it (like my mom did with hers) and not reformat my computer.

    I just have a quick question about Windows Movie Maker, though.
    Is its general performance better? Are there any new looks or features?

    Windows 7 doesn't come pre-packaged with Windows Movie Maker. You have to download Windows Live Movie Maker, which is essentially the 'new version'. I'm pretty sure it has new effects, dunno the specifics. I'm sure it will run better too.

    If you prefer the old version, though, you can still get it for Windows 7.

    Well, I'm asking because I don't like this old one. :)
    It's decent, it just has a big history of having problems.

    Anyway, that answered my question, so you may go ahead and give this thread the ol' lock, Misty. :)
