Kingdom Hearts II Question about this game?

All day, I've been reading about "Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix".

What exactly is it? It says it comes with a remake of "Chain of Memories" and "Re: Chain of Memories". (Or maybe it just means Re: CoM. Lol)

So, anyone wanna clarify this clueless person what it is? Please? Basically, what I'm asking, if it has Re: CoM in it, is it PS2 compatible in America?

If so, I'm thinking of buying it. (But it costs $85 dollars)

(Also, I didn't know what forum to put this in, but since it's "Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix" I put it in the KHII section.)

 

It's an extended version of Kingdom Hearts II with extra cutscenes and boss fights. The bonus disc for it came with the Chain of Memories remake.

It only came out in Japan though, so you'd need a PS2 that can play Japanese games. <_>

If you really want to play it (like me!) then you should get Swap Magic. It lets you play Japanese games on a US PS2.

It's a disc that mods the ps2 so you can play japanese games.

 

You need to buy a slide card as well for it to work... just so you know. You should be able to get it online without too much difficulty.

 

If I were you, I'd just get a Flip Top for your version of a PS2, and the Swap Magic disc. Slide Cards always made me nervous.

 

True... But the idea of dismantling my PS2 scares me even more! I'll probably just end up breaking my PS2 anyways so...

 

It depends on what kind of PS2 you have . . .
