Kingdom Hearts III Quad Wielding

Bored with doom and gloom now
I want Sora to wield at least four keyblades at once in KH3
And maybe run on walls, Dissidia style

 

The only way I could see him weilding four is if two are in the air. Kinda like Final form plus 2 keyblades in hand I guess. It would most definitely have to be something simmilar to a drive form if it happened. And we got flowmotion last game which let us jump on walls so maybe running on walls could be the next step? If it is is I'd luv to finally run up Memory Skyscraper.

I'd actually like to see him do the two for hands, two for feet thing. I can already imagine him killing heartless with it.

 

Sora grows another pair of arms due to the effects of dream radiation.

If he can cut through gosh-darned flipped-up skyscrapers in a black nebulous void of nothingness then the series can reach the point of extremity for wielding four keyblades somehow. Perhaps even six. Through the power of magic and levitation. *wiggles fingers* We can just have Sora wielding two keyblades and have a giant pair of wings made out of sixty of them that attack in a cloud or swarm of keyblades. That would certainly be something!

Although I would be curious to see how he would be able to do anything if he uses his feet for the keyblades, unless he shoots the Wisdom Form-style bolts of energy. Helicopter Sora form, perhaps.

I believe the closest thing to this is during the boss fight with Roxas in kingdom hearts 2 final mix. If you win the duel stance, you temporarily wield his keyblades in addition to your own, thus tri-wielding. I forget if it's possible to use any of the dual-wielding drive forms in the data battle or not, but if it is, you can quad wield.

 

Hm, that actually sounds pretty cool, but kinda overpowered at the same time. If they were to do that, I'd like to see it with one keyblade in each hand, while the other two are floating in the air. Either that, or make all of them in the air.

 

then it wouldn't be a fun game; if sora can wield 4 keyblades then he can just past through everything and the game wouldn't be difficult.

 

Unless you also make what he has to pass through more difficult.

 

This has no basis in logic. The number of keyblades Sora has would have no impact on difficulty whatsoever, that's not how games work. If they felt like it, they could make a basic shadow harder than fighting ten Mysterious Figures at once. Or make it so Xemnas dies in one hit. Whatever

 

What exactly would allow Sora to wield four Keyblades? His ability to wield two comes from Roxas' ability dual wield, which in turn comes from Xion returning to Sora. What I get from that is that a Keyblade user can use as many Keyblades as there are qualified hearts residing in his or her body. Let's go through this step by step, shall we?

1. Roxas is essentially Ven's heart after being "released" from Sora's heart.
2. Xion was a part of Sora to begin with, and never actually had a heart anyway, so she didn't add another heart when she returned to him.
3. From what I understand, Roxas "grows" his own heart after Xion's death, allowing him to wield two Keyblades, one for Ven's heart and one of his own. That means that Sora should have three hearts after Roxas returns to him.
4. However, Roxas was still an independent being after that, meaning that his heart hadn't returned to Sora, only Ven's.
5. At the end of Kingdom Hearts II, we see Roxas return to Sora for good, which means that at this point Sora has three hearts residing within him: His own, Ven's, and Roxas'. But...
6. At the end of DDD, Ven's heart returns to its own body. That means that Sora has two hearts in his body, allowing him to wield only two Keyblades.

What exactly prevents them from adjusting the difficulty of the game to compensate for that?

Anyways, it's been shown that people, especially keyblade wielders, can hold keyblades for extended periods of time. It's not hard to engineer a situation where, say, Sora uses Terra and Aqua's keyblade
Or, you know, do whatever. This is KH, they do what they want.
Sora can wield two extra keyblades because they are actually time travelling forms of Xehanort from a parallel universe where keyblades wield people
Or, I dunno. His clothes did it

 

I say two blades in each hand or like in the KH2 final mix roxas battle two in your hands and two murder stomping people behind you.

 

Yea, something like Final Form + two keyblades in the hands. Considering how many Hearts Sora's related, it's pretty possible.

And Nomrua says they'll work out something they learn from Flowmotion from DDD, so imagine rapid runs in the wall and so on. :P
